Thank you Princhessa :) i'm trying to ride my bike to work every day, and so far this month ive only missed a couple days. but this past week I rode every day. :) I'm hoping for another week of the same. :)

I am back........again! I am back with a plan and more motivation this time! My cardiologist gave me a "perfect" report on my heart including nuclear stress test and ECHO, so what am I waiting for? He even set me a goal for weight loss! I know that with SP I can do this! Christine

I'm back at Spark People after joining a few years ago and reaching my goalweight. Then the same old story, I regained it. I was so disgusted with myself, I cancelled my Spark People account and then with the New Year signed up again. New Year, New Me. This time, I hope to try to consider each day as if I were on Maintenance. Since that's obviously the skill I need to practice!

Sounds like your in control and on your way to a healthy weightloss! I took one spin class and thought I was going to die afterward. Maybe a slight exageration, but I definitely had trouble walking the next morning. I myself have a little over a 100lbs to lose! I haven't done any classes, maybe when I feel more comfortable in my own skin a little more but I like doing dvd and I need to get back into the gym. Have a few friends that do the crossfit and corefusion which sound really intriguing down the road that I would love to try.
Don't have to coffee habit but I do have the soda habit that is soooooo hard to break. Much luck with that.

So ... I fell off the SP wagon a bit ago ... About a year or so. But I've been making improvements in my day-to-day lifestyle, and I needed continued inspiration that maybe, just maybe, I'm doing the right thing. ;)
I'm looking to lose a total of another 150 lbs., BUT my short term goal is another 5.8 so I can hit my 10 percent. :) Then after that it's the 50 lbs. mark that's my goal! I'm really trying to think in smaller increments here so the 150 number doesn't scare or intimidate me as much. But I'm 1/6 of the way there! The hard part is over ... And that's starting! Or so I like to think. :P
Just as an intro: I'm Lindsay, a 27-year-old English teacher from Virginia. I've battled weight (as most have) my entire life, and I'm trying to do it the right way. I'm on WW 360, and going to 2-4 fitness classes a week. Cycling kicked my BUTT today ... That's my challenge. Not sure how much I like it, though ... :/ Hahaha.
Any great classes people take that they're in love with? My current one is BodyPump. :D

Had a rough go with the gym this morning. The treadmill killed my shins so I didnt get to finish my workout on it. I did however move to the elliptical to finish up my 30 min cardio. so not all bad on this cold monday morning

It's Monday all right, Didn't sleep as well, woke up to blowing snow, and a cold dark morning. Thank goodness no cows calved through the night. I don't have to get up with DH with them unless he has problems but who could sleep until he comes back to bed and you know all is well... It gets to be along couple of months especially when you work also....

Almost Saturday as I type this. Sorry about being MIA this week, but my router/ modem crashed and burned... should be up and running sometime next week. Until then, I dragged my laptop to work, and am using the connection here...
Just checking in... but it feels great to be back! My weight has plateaued again, but my husband is on board now, and he's doing GREAT!!! Seeing as how he's needed to lose weight for years but fought and nail, this is awesome! Looking forward to the summer!

Hello! I'm back with Sparks People after a break during the holidays. I'm glad I found this team to help me relight my spark. This time around my goals are to relight my exersize program, relight daily nutrition for me and my husband, relight my weight loss of 11 pounds, set up my profile page and learn how to use my new serger sewing machine. My spark hasn't been too bright lately, but Winter in the GPNW will do that to me. So I'm looking forward to the Spring and Summer with their warmer, sunnier days and my goals a little further along. I use the WII also taebo and dance videos. I need to change everyday not to get bored. On good days I walk but winter is tough I just ordered a few of the spark people workout videos. Even if you do them wrong you are working out and moving.

Hello everyone. I need some advice. I live in Manitoba Canada and we are having a blizzard right now. I need some ideas for exercising indoors at home (I live in a small town, no gym) Does anyone use Wii or xbox or something similiar and is it something that might work for me. I am heavy and just getting back into fitness.
