Managed to lose 4lbs this week. I'll take it because with hypothyroidism it is up and down! I made it onto the BLC20's Midnight Mustangs Team! I am happy because I thought I didn't make it so I had joined the 28 Bootcamp and now I will be doing both. I actually did 3 workout videos tonight which totaled 20 min so that's better than the 10min video I was able to do.

Since Sunday, I am down 7 lbs.. I know it's water weight, and I know it will come back, but it's been enough motivation for me to get back on here and to actually make an effort. I have been a lot more careful in planning meals.. and I have been taking my lunch to work. However, I think the biggest thing is that I am being a lot more careful about how much water I drink and cutting out soda/sports drinks out all together. The lower carb meals help to keep my sugars down so I don't feel as parched.. and I am able to keep my water consumption below a gallon a day.. That may seem like a lot for most people, but my average is about 2 gallons.. I can actually feel a huge difference. I'm not as sluggish or tired or as absent minded .. which I have found is all signs of water intoxication.. The first day was really tough, but it is getting easier.. and today I feel like I have a lot of extra energy.

Back on track for the summer. Took off 14 lbs gained in the spring plus an additional 4 totaling 19lbs lost! Weigh less than I did same time last year. Consistant exercise, tracking cals, still getting in special favorite foods, better perspective on longevity of all of these! Now tto deal with emotional/ stress eating as I head back to work/school.... Keep Sparking my friends!

I did a 5k race yesterday morning with a time of 38:36. After supper, my boys and I went for a 6 mile bike ride. Neither would have been done separately in a day, let alone both, a few short months ago!

weighed in today for the first time since restarting 3 weeks ago (I needed to just focus on working out consistently and eating right) and I'm down 5 lbs, also did my measurements, lost at least a little on each except my calves lol, best of them though I lost 2 in from my waist YAY!!!

I got through my second day! It was a little iffy for me because the day wasn't going as I had exactly planned.... but I managed to eat properly, log in my foods, exercise and participate up on spark. Lately, when things don't go right - I get shaky and have been falling back on food. I am glad I was able to get a hold of myself yesterday, before that happened because it easily (and almost) could have gone the other way. And because I ultimately had a good day, I feel a little more positive today. It's going to be baby steps for me, but I know now - I have to do this. I have to stay on the road and have consistency and control back in my life.

Never Give Up!

I have been on track for two weeks straight. I've been doing the c25k training. I am on week 3. I have been staying in my calorie range and I lost 2 lbs this week. I have also been staying away from sugar and I am feeling great!! Getting stronger everyday!

I am back since I had left I had gained up to 240 lbs and last year I started eating different and I came back in November and since them I have lost 40 lbs, right now at 200 lbs still aways to go but I am back and I wrote in my blog today it felt good. emoticon emoticon

I also have trouble getting to bed before 11pm, but last night was in bed by 10:30. Been getting in the 8 glasses of water,writing in journal and walking at least 30 minutes a day. I need to prepare one new recipe yet this week. I can do all this for a week or two then I slack off. But, I'm determined not to do fall back into the same pitfalls. Linda

My biggest accomplishment yesterday was completing all of my goals for the day. I ate fruit and veggies, wrote in my journal, and got to bed before 11. That last one has been the hardest for me, as I usually end up staying up way too late, so it was quite a big step to go from a bedtime of 1:00-2:00 am to 10:40 pm.

I prepped myself yesterday for the start of my hourney to begin today. I've been away from Spark for way too long! So far today, I've done okay, but my snacks weren't very healthy. Yes, it's still early in the day, but I have started somewhere! LOL

Since I have started SP again, and have not lied to myself, I have lost weight. It is small, but it is a loss. I am proud of myself because I have changed the way I eat, and I didn't do anything drastic, just keeping track, staying with my range, and making healthier choices.

Ihave stayed on plan all week no cheats . Hoping for a good weigh in emoticon
I have also cut out all white flour and most extra sugar .Still need brown sugar on my oatmeal . What a difference that has made in my cravings . I can't believe I'm not craving potao chips !!

I've lost and kept off 16 lbs. I have about 25 to go until my final goal. but 135 is my short term/xmas goal. I've been at a plateau of 151 for about 4 months! so i hope SP can help me get back on track!

As of last Sunday I had lost my first 8 pounds. I am waiting until Sunday to weigh myself again but I am pretty sure I will cross the 10 pound mark. This is really an achievement because I have been happily sparking away since February 2011 and have only gotten serious in the last week or so. Seems to make a big difference when you decide to get serious. Recommend it very highly to my fellow sparkers. emoticon

My son bought me a used Zumba for Wii, So today I did 30 mins of Zumba anf 1/2 hour more on Wii sports. So I am very happy with my achievement.

I'm doing so good since relighting the spark on 9/24/11. Lost 19 lbs. some was water retention. As of today I'm down to 219 from 238 & moved into "210ville". I know the weight loss will slow down but I 'm very happy at the weight I have lost so far! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Spent the day with my sister today. Went out to lunch and did really well. Didn't cheat at all. But it was kinda easy since she's losing weight too. She's lost 40 lbs all ready. emoticon

This is a small one, but it's a start. I got back on SparkPeople on Monday. I have recorded *everything* I've eaten - and kept within my calories. (Only about half the burn I needed those two days, though - but today, I think I'll make target!)

I realize that for me, journaling my food isn't just a good idea - it's ESSENTIAL. I'm very good at the "oh, just a wee bit of ____ won't hurt." And no, it won't physically harm me right then - but it *will* keep me from losing any weight, and that WILL hurt me in the long run.

The next three days will be the bad ones (when my mind and my body will try to team up to make me quit because It's Just Too Hard), but I'm pretty sure I can get through it. I'll check in Friday to let you know for sure!

After 4 months of sporadic gym attendance (a month and a half off is what made it sporadic), I tried the 'fitness test' setting on the stationary bike. My first time doing it, after a month of working out, I lasted about 4.5 minutes and was 'Below Average'. I tried it again on Monday and lasted 12.5 minutes and am firmly in the 'Average' range. I had never thought I'd get myself to average fitness levels.
