I love starting over. One month at a time. I can look over the past month and see what needs improvement. For January, I am focusing on my diet as well as exercise. I just got a ten minute trainer dvd and excited to add in at least ten minutes of exercise to my day. Hey, ten is better than not at all. I can afford that! Also no sweets for me. I have been indulging too much in Dec. lets go cold turkey, and love honey again!
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
my words for the year:
I drew a picture of myself in pen at my desk at what I imagine myself looking like when I am my ideal weight.
I must have done a very good job, since my kids recognized that picture when they accidentally saw it as me (well, the future me anyway :).)
My resolution is going to be to look like the "me" in that picture. It isn't an unreasonable goal.
I start fresh every single morning!

70 lbs. done!
Ok, so I know New Years Resolutions are the begining to disaster for most of us :) making us focus so much on our weights and gym activities, that we binge eat or simply blow our workouts off for a couple of days at a time because it's too cold, or we have better things to do, like play with our new christmas and holiday goodies, but take a minute today, and think about a simple change you could make today that would keep you from self-sabbotaging yourself come January! What is it that you want? Do you want to fit in those skinny jeans you bought last year? run a 5k? lose babyweight? quit smoking? put those ideas in your head now, and make a small change today that will keep you motivated through the New Year. Make a plan to go to the gym in the morning; before the hustle and bustle of your day. Take a picture of your body today, and put it somewhere only you can see, and imagine yourself as the best version of that person and set off towards that goal now. Put that last cigarette away. run one extra lap while you're training, push your baby around the block this afternoon. Just get MOVING!!!! make that resolution TODAY!
