Eat Clean Diet was the first in the series. Recharged is an updated version of it. Stripped is a totally different level of clean eating. It does not contain any dairy or bread items. Even though the portion sizes and principals are the same in all the Eat Clean books, the menu plans and recipes are different. They never repeat a recipe in any of their cookbooks.

For people who are just starting in Clean Eating, I would suggest the Recharged book. It has the most versatile menu plans in it for various levels of weight loss, maintenance and for families and vegans and gluten free options.

I have both books.

A lot of the info is the same.

Recipes are different and like others said Stripped is catered towards the last 10 pounds.

She goes through the same specific details about the actual "diet" so honestly, I think either book is fine by itself.

I read Recharged from the library and I've been using that. It's been working. I bought Stripped. Yes, for last few pounds. My goal is 14 away so I think it's where I should be working from. I don't know if I can lose more after that. It's been year's since I've been at my current goal weight. We'll see what happens. It's tough but I think I can do it. I can definately find a balance between the two books. Both are VERY good. I know I can find my balance. This is the best thing I've done for me. I'm reading and getting my head around it. Then I will make my plan for lunch and meals because her meal plans won't work for me exactly.....I eat more vegetarian....not a true vegetarian but very close. Baby steps and I'll start the Stripped plan very soon!

My understanding of Stripped is that it is for people looking to lose their last few pounds. Sorry to say, I'm not ready for that yet:(

I have neither -but it is my understanding (from good friends who have both) - - that they are different enough, it is worth the money to get both. I am buying both on pay day.

I was just wondering a similar thing....the difference between Recharged and Stripped? I've been doing Recharged and wondering if there's really a big improvement in the new Stripped book or is it just rehashing the same information. Hopefully someone can tell us the difference between all the books. K~

Has anyone here purchased the Eat Clean diet recharged and the first Eat clean diet book? I was going to purchase this one online but am curious as to whether this one is just an updated version of the original Eat clean diet or if there is totally new info in this book. I dont want to waste money on something I already have.
Thanks!

Lisa
