Hi everyone! I just thought this sample daily menu might be helpful and give newbies an idea of what "clean eating" is like.

For one day, one person:

Breakfast (example at 6am)
6 scrambled egg whites
1 slice dry whole grain toast
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1 cup black coffee or tea

Snack (ex. 9am)
5 or 6 slices of smoked salmon
2 slices of dark bread (whole grain)
1/2 cup celery and carrot sticks
2 cups water

Lunch (ex. 12 noon)
5 oz. lean chicken breast
1/2 cup brown rice
1 sliced tomato
2 watermelon wedges
2 cups water

Snack (ex. 3pm)
1 banana
2 Tablespoons of nut butter
1/2 cup unsalted almonds

Dinner (ex. 6pm)
5 oz. baked sea bass
1/2 cup spinach greens
1/2 baked yam
1/2 cup steamed green beans
1/2 cup mixed berries

Evening snack (optional)
1/2 cup unsalted nuts
1 cup green tea

Think there's enough food there??
