Faberge eggs were made in Russia by Peter Carl Faberge. There were originally only 57 made, two of them not completed. As of 2006, 21 of them remained in Russia, although there are many replicas in existence.

I saw conflicting answers. I saw" Of the 105 known Fabergé eggs, only 69 survive." and another place said 57. So I really don't know for sure.
