I don't know. I would may try a seated core routine. I saw one in the video section recently.

Ok my exercise the last few years has consisted of carrying babies, lugging bags, yoga and walking. However, as I am losing weigh I am trying to be sure I tone my core muscles as well as lose because my mid section is my least desirable area. My overall conditioning isn't terrible. I can keep up with most strength exercises (except what I can't do just right now because of a healing MCL tear)- however, I can not seem to do a casual, easy going crunch. Even doing one set of 10-15 forward and one on each side will cause muscle tightening revolt for hours... I really just don't get it. I realize the muscles need conditioned- but how do I start if they rebel with even the mild stuff??

My Mantra: Every day I get to make a choice about what kind of response I am going to give back to the world, what kind of mindset I will meet my challenges with, what kind of life I am building. Each day I will focus on making choices that make me feel good about myself. Each day I will focus on making choices that help my family be happy and healthy.
