Welcome to our group. I am also a runner. If I lived close to you I would be game. I struggle with motivation a lot. I plan to run, but never make that first step out the door.
I am just getting over a bad cold. So as soon as I stop coughing, I plan on getting back to running.
THE JOY OF DISCIPLINE OR THE PAIN OF REGRET. WHICH WILL IT BE TODAY?
Discipline is doing what you don''t want to do so you can do what you really want to do."
What doesn''t kill you can only make you stronger!
People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing- that's why we recommend it daily.

Hello to all! I am new to this website, but not to weight loss. I heard about sparkspeople through the forum at runnersworld.com and am quite intrigued. I successfully lost 20 pounds prior to Christmas, maintained my weight loss through the holidays, and am ready to get serious again. I have 69 pounds to lose (hopefully by my wedding anniversary at the end of July. I know that is aggressive, but I am targeting it anyway!
I would LOVE to find another "spark person" who might be interested in running. I am in the West Chester/Chadds Ford area and would love to have someone to run with once or twice a week. Any takers?
Best of luck to you all in this journey!
