rob, when i take my multivitamins, the same thing happens to me internally. i am not scared of it unless it doesn't stop when i have been taking my vitamins regularly. i am wondering if i should take a b complex in addition to my multi, since i am very tired all the time. i am on an anti-anxiety, but i don't know that is what is making me so tired.

I currently take a B-complex vitamin and I really like them! Yes, they discolor your urine and they taste bad...I also cannot take them on an empty stomach or else it gets upset. They give you a ton of lasting energy, in my opinion!

T.M.I. ... Your body is probably throwing off the excess that you don't need....(as it does with Vitamin C) OR... it's pretty normal in that the urine will be DARKER first thing in the morning and FADE during the day with the amount of water you are consuming... emoticon No, you are NOT GOING MAD...

I went ahead and bought a B complex supplement. I got the pills you swallow, and I'm glad I did, they taste horrible. I would hate to have to hold that under my tongue.

I drink a lot of water. Normally at least 10 or 12 cups a day, so my urine is clear. For the last few days it has been bright yellow, I mean scared me abnormally bright yellow. The only thing I have done different is the supplement, Is this normal? Have a become someone's lab rat? Is this some plot to slowly drive me mad?

Yes, I take supplements. And I take B12 some of the time. I use a B Complex regularly that is really good. With taking some supplement sublingual (under the tongue) it is more quickly absorbed by the body - goes to work right away, but there are B12 that are ones that you swallow. As for the Nutritional Yeast, you can use it where ever you can. Just put the can where you can see it..until you get used to using it. Labels are good..and that too becomes a habit.

Is anyone in the group taking a vitamin supplement?

Now that I have stopped eating any meat and have never eaten dairy I think I should probable at least start paying attention to my B-12 intake. I am not really very excited about taking pills and you have to hold the B-12 supplements under your tongue,what's that about! I have nutritional yeast and put some on my tacos, but to tell you the truth I very rarely remember to use it. I guess I will have to look at the labels and try to figure out how much I am getting from the fortified cereals that I eat.

Anyone have a suggestion?
