This has really made me stop and think. I never had a problem with meat. Maybe because when I was young I ate about 1.5 ounces at a time? But I got thinking about when I came home from Honduras. I did have some trouble then. I thought at the time it was the diet change from mostly vegetarian back to an American, higher fat diet. Bacon and other fatty meats or whole milk were the only things that seemed to bother me. I acclimated and got to where I could eat everything again. I think that was the more likely reason, but I spent the last few days wondering about it.
A couple years ago I was having trouble with stomach pain. It seemed to be related more to the cheese we used in the school cafeteria. I never figured that out, but after starting to see the naturopath that went away.
