That was what I was just gonna say. A Light bulb came on and I was like...wait! The can't do that to a whole chicken!
Buying a whole cow would be a different story...lol.

I will only buy whole chickens, they can't piece those together. The rotisserie chickens at Costco are cheap and good and eating a lot more non-meat meals, that is for sure

That is so so nasty. I would always buy the boneless and skinless chicken that you can buy in a pack and now thinking about that makes me nauseaus. Ew is all I can say. That and I will no longer be eating vanilla ice cream that has "natural flavoring" in it. Bleck.

They do it to chicken too. I was eating chicken and fish once in a while, but now I am down to what they can not possibly do that too.

Oh that is so gross! I try to eat clean but it's hard. I will definitely be trying harder now! I'm looking now to see what over ingredients I should avoid!

I wouldn't mind a glazed doughnut once in a while though! I do miss stuff like that sometimes...but mostly when I am stressed.
Before I quit drinking and smoking, they were my go to when I was stressed. But I have replaced stress drinking with food. The yummy kind that is bad for me kind. emoticon
I am under extreme financial stress right now too. Due to a broke car repair 400.00, I do not know if I will be able to pay rent.
So for the last 3 days, stating on the clean path has been tough.

I guess I should not be too surprised by this, but I am somewhat stunned. This is a big motivator for eating clean. I rarely eat processed foods and this is why.

We can only wonder what else is in our food. I never did trust the government.....after all they are the bottom line of what is acceptable and what is not right?
And even if it is not the governments responsibility, I don't trust them anyway. emoticon

NICE! Now I know how I got those incredibly inexpensive pork loins at the regular food store. I hope Costco doesn't do this, that is where I buy the majority of my meat, but possibly not for long.

I think (hope) we can trust places like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods to not use these bizarre ingredients. I still don't understand how it is more economically feasible to use anal glands of an animal that is at least fairly uncommon, I mean it is not like cow anal glands, Ok, I am getting ill, sorry...

So, is there a stable of beavers and a beaver keeper who milks the anal glands? How is this cheaper that using real vanilla or rasberries?

Enough to make me almost full time vegetarian. Keep eating real food that you can recognize and know where it came from. Processed food is not good
