I love baby carrots! They've been my secret weapon the entire time I've been losing weight. They add flavor to my lemon-and-oil dressed salads. I can't do prepared spaghetti sauce or add sugar to my sauce, so I put in double the carrots to balance flavors. And if you tend to eat three pounds of them, try them with a little peanut butter for protein.
I've learned it's a combination of foods that are sugary (e.g. carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, grapes, refined flour, refined sugar, etc.) and some foods I just have CRAVINGS, makes me MORE hungry. Like corn - I eat corn, I want to eat more food. Lots and lots and lots more food.
Carrots for me I can easily have none ... but if I have a couple baby carrots, then I need to eat 3 pounds of carrots and it's still not enough.
