Today is Flag Day. So, fly your flags proud and high and when you see all of them blowing in the breeze today think of the many men and women that have sacrificed for the red, white and blue.
We as military wives know about this sacrifice better than any civilian. Let the FLAG be your motivation today. Let it humble all of us to be thankful for all the freedom and liberties that we have and perhaps sometimes take for granted. Let it inspire you by it's significance and honor that it brings knowing that for generations people have died to up hold it's glory. Gain strength in it's stripes so that you may reach all the stars.
I hope everyone enjoyed Military Appreciations over the week-end and are off to a great start this week. I have some very busy, busy couple of days/weeks looking a head, anybody else? We as military wives know better than anybody that our lives can be crammed full of chaotic, "hurry-up and waits."
So, not to stress about our upcoming schedules and what our daily lives might decide to throw at us:
"The great and glorious masterpiece of man is to know how to live to purpose."
Michel de Montaigne
Make sure you are living your life with purpose and that each and every moment of your precious time counts because life really is short.
It is TGIF, fantastic FRIDAY and let's do a little FRIDAY FEED-BACK:
In our busy, sometimes hectic, stressful lives we can sometimes forget to appreciate our loved ones... I know I am guilty.
Since tomorrow is Military Spouse Appreciation Day, I just wanted to take this time to say THANK YOU, FELLOW MILITARY SPOUSES for all the hard work that you do. You are appreciated. Our men and women in uniform could not do it with out you!
Feedback time: What are you appreciative/great-ful for?
I'll start: I have the most wonderful husband in thee entire world. Words cannot express how much I love him and how much he loves me. I am so thankful to have him in my life. He is my hero, my confidant, my best friend, my lover and my husband. I love you honey. Thank you for being my spouse!
Good morning my fine, fabulous 536 fellow Air Force Wives! I hope today is treating you all well. We are one day closer to the week-end,
Words of encouragement for today: You must make yourself happy, before you can make anyone (parents, husband, children) else happy. As women, we always put everyone else before ourselves and we tend to get our happiness out of making others happy...but what about you? Don't forget to do things to make yourself happy. It is not selfish, it is a necessity in order to be the BEST YOU that you can possibly be. So take that bubble bath, drink that glass of wine with dinner and read the romance novel... whatever it takes to make Momma happy, you do it!
Happy Monday! Today I want you to STOP living a life of "What if?" and TAKE ACTION! Stop wondering, "what would happen if"...and focus on making forward progress in your life. Most of you KNOW exactly where to start, you just need to flip the switch and make the decision to get'ter DONE! What's the BEST thing that can happen if you set aside your "What if's" and took steps towards living the life you're SUPPOSED to live?
I got this from Chalene Johnson a few Monday's ago and LOVED it! HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!
