My dog, Max, hides in the closet at the sound of thunder, so I am sure that tonight will be filled with trepidation for him.
He's an inside dog, but that isn't good enough for him. He'll be under a chair (he's 60 pounds!), or in the closet, or hide in my bathroom. He's a rescue so who knows what happened to him before he was 10 months when I got him, but I ALWAYS know when a storm is coming because he starts hiding. HAHA
He's definitely better than the weather man!

Max is an indoor only cat so he'll be safe. We have a few neighbors that will be celebrating but it's not usually too loud or for too late an hour.

Music is about communication, creativity, and cooperation, and, by studying music in school, students have the opportunity to build on these skills, enrich their lives, and experience the world from a new perspective." - Bill Clinton
Remember to keep your animals safe from fireworks today. If you have outdoor pets, bring them in tonight or make sure they have a safe outdoor shelter to go to. Many dogs and cats are scared of the sounds and bright lights of fireworks and may be likely to act erratically. This can cause them to run away, run in front of vehicles or other things they may not normally do. Keep them safe, they are members of your family!
