I guess it depends on the way you think. I'm not intimidated easily.
I only used a gym membership a few years ago, and feel I can get all the exercise in I need at home.
But, when I was going I doubted anyone was interested in how I looked and I was there to get more fit.
...and if anyone had an issue with me not being the thin one..they were the one's with the problem.
So, you go to the gym and you feel confident about yourself and remind yourself you're there to get fit....and don't worry what other people think...and most of the time it's only in our own thoughts that we think they are thinking about us, when really ...they're there to exercise for themselves as well.
When you go to the gym and you see someone who is quite heavy..what thought enters your mind?
When I see that, I think...Hey! Good for them on doing something about getting healthier!
Hope this helps you :):)
