Anne- that's awesome!!

Angie- We wouldn't kick you out. I know what you mean though. That is the hard part for me too. You can do it!! emoticon that's me kicking your booty! Just remember "If you bite it, write it. If you drink it, ink it!" Be honest and track everything, it really does help.

Today we did

15 min AMRAP
3 reps 65# back squat
10 jumping squats
100 meter sprint

I got 6 rounds and the back squats of rd 7 done.
This was hard for me after doing 400 squats yesterday.. but I got it done :)

Fantastic workouts everyone!

Mine tonight was 3 rounds for time:
8 hanging clean and jerk - 30#
800m sprint on elliptical
Final time: 16:12

Yesterday I saw a lady that works in a different building on campus for the first time in about 6 months. In December 2008 she had gastric bypass. I was so envious of her yesterday because she's a tiny little whisp of a woman now. I WANT TO BE LIKE THAT, DANG IT! She has lost 165 lbs now. I just hate me for my stupidity in my eating. Gah! I need a serious buttkicking. Honestly. Who works out like a maniac in the gym and then goes home and eats crap and undoes all that work? ME! ME! ME! I need to be kicked off of this team.

Anne, you look really strong and fit. Nice work

Our workout was a strength workout followed by a short metcon, which is my favorite type of workout by far.

800m run
Burgener Warmup

Hang Power Cleans, 5x5, max at 85

4 rounds for time
10 hpc, 65 lbs
Suicide ladder

9:44

First time doing the HPC in a strength workout (not just a metcon), so I didn't have a target to shoot for. I look forward to doing them again. Fun!

Still in my first week of CF... Pretty sore after the first few days. Todays WOD (scaled it back to dirty thirty):
30 Box jump, 24 inch box
30 Jumping pull-ups
30 Kettlebell swings, 35lb
Walking Lunge, 30 steps
30 Knees to elbows
30 Push press, 45 pounds
30 Good Mornings
30 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
30 Burpees
30 Double unders

time: 24mins

Can't wait until the next time...

Eeeewwww, have fun with that Cujo. I really despise rowing. But I guess I have to do it sometimes anyway. My wod today was 4 rounds of 30 (15#) ball slams, 20 overhead weighted lunges (25#), 10 manmakers (20# dumbbells). My time was 11:45. Then the afterparty was a 500 mtr row for time. My time was 2:02. I'm trying desperatly to gt that below 2 min. Hey he (trainer) got a pic of me deadlifting yesterday. I'm pretty happy with it. If you want to see it fo to http://crossfitcascobay.com . Nothing like tootin' my own horn but I know you guys understand how it feels to get a pr. So I'll be back to see what everyone else is up to. You guys are the best. Thanks for keeping me motivated. I really mean it!
