Sorry to hear about the back Cujo. Had a problem last year with my knee. Thought it would take forever to go away but I rested it and now I don't have any issues. Listen to your body dude!

Tis the season for the creeping crud! H - seems like it's worse for people this year. I've been fighting something for over a month now. I wish for you a speedy recovery! I agree - being sick blows!

I know how you feel Cujo....I'm so sick with no end in sight!!! Was suppose to run a 5k on Dec 5th; but there is no way given the massive chest congestion I have. Being sick blows!!!

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.

Well I tried to get the WOD done...but while working towards a personal record on Linda...I completely jacked my back. I'm a wreck and pissed off, but I suppose these things happen.

I am not feeling so hot today. I worked in the garden, got a zucchini surprise (didn't know it was there - its nearly 2 feet long). Then I did bench presses to failure. 40 x 5 x 2, 50 x 3

Angie! You ROCKED it today, girl! All that and you are still recuperating from being ill. WOW!!!

I got in to the gym and hammered out 50 minutes of cardio - 20 minutes on the treadmill and the rest on the bike - oh my aching muscles!! I had planned to get some ab work in, but while I was stretching I realized I hadn't done them, took that as a sign and got out of the gym!

Hey there! I've been out since Tuesday, sick. Still not quite 100%, but better than I have been.

Today we did a max out on deadlifts. I've never maxed on anything, so this was fun and exciting for me. Lifts were as follows:

95-105-115-125-135

Felt like I could still go higher, but my trainer didn't want me to overdo it since I still had a mini-Cindi to get through, too, and since I was still recovering from being sick. He was pleased with my numbers. I don't have anything to compare them to, so I'm not sure if I am or not.

Mini-Cindi:
AMRAP, 10 min
10 jumping pull ups
10 push ups
15 squats

Got 5 rounds. Blah! First two rounds I did boy push ups and then he had me switch to girl.

It will just be a cardio day for me because my legs are still so sore I still have to take stairs one step at a time going down! emoticon

Deadlift: 1 1/2 body weight
Bench press: body weight
Clean: 3/4 body weight

Set up three bars and storm through for time.
