No rest for Kristi today...maybe tomorrow!
I set out on a run tonight. I was thinking I'd do two miles but thought..."That's easy...just do three girlfriend!" Yep, I talk to myself and I'm glad I did...I convinced myself to go the extra mile and it felt good! Pretty good time for someone who hasn't done a consistent street run in a while much less in the cold and misty rain late at night with the wind blowing me around emoticon Sorry...just had to add all that in...Anyhoo...good run, glad I did it and it feels GRRRRRRRRREAT!!!!

Great job listening to your body Bekah and Cujo! Rest days are just the days to let the muscles repair and build back up. Aww and thanks for the Valentine's Day goodie too hehe =)I just saw them today.

Well I've had waaaaaaay to many rest days and I've had enough of it too! I'm using this day to jump back in.
I'm climbing the ladder today: 1,5,10,15,20,25,30,30,25,20,15,10,5,1 of...
-push-ups
-sit-ups
-burpees
-jumping jacks
-bicycle kicks
-mountain climbers
-air squats
-pull-ups (assisted)

and I want to work on my hand-stands and hand-stand pushups today

Afterwards, I'm going on a 4 mile walk with my hubby when he gets home! LoL not only am I surprised that he's actually going on a walk with me (hubby=lazy hehe), but HE was the one that suggested the idea! Hahah that's so awesome. *cough cough* except he doesn't know we're walking 4 miles. He said 30 mins, but little does he know that it takes about 30 mins to walk 2 miles... hoping he still forgets that he has to walk back when he comes home LOL!emoticonemoticon

Good job CUJO. I'm doing the same. I had intended on hitting it with weights today and the double-under work, but my body said, "No, no, no." I took the day off so I can give my upcoming workouts the one-two punch!

I did run for the bus this morning and walk down a couple hills!

Well I took it easy today. I went to a Spinning class for an hour and then stretched. I'm saving up my energy so I can really push it the next three days.

It's a CrossFit REST DAY!!!

Here's today's challenge, if you choose to accept it:

Choose an exercise, add it to your warm-up, and work on skill development. Do it and post it to let us know what you did.

I'm going to work on double-unders.

Or, if you need to rest, listen to your body and do it.

Now, go after it team and happy rest day!emoticon
