I live in BC and we just brought in HST - that means all restaurant foods and drinks, like coffee are now taxed 12%. Therefore, costs have increased and I probably wouldn't notice if there was an underling of extra with this current issue. I rarely buy coffee out any longer, it's just too much money. Crazy eh.
Maybe thats why my favorite at Tim Hortons has gone from $1.98 to $2.06. Bummer, but if its only nominal, I will still get my coffee in the mornings, the International brand at the stores is so far still the same.
