I just got the kit yesterday and I can't figure out how to add the DVD Ball/Band workouts to my fitness tracker on-going. When I click the links in the article, it gives me the option of only selecting one day, rather than making the Ball/Band my workout for multiple days. Also, when I try to change my workout settings, it asks which equipment I have access to (I have dumbbells, ball and band) but then it makes my entire workout using gym machines I don't have. I can't figure out how to change this. Any help is appreciated.

Update 1/11//10, 10:12pm: apparently by adding the DVD workouts to one day, it added them to all of my strength training days. Nevermind.

Nevermind - I am crazy - I thought it was the end of the article after the ball workout. Duh.

I love the ball too, it does take some getting used to however, it may not be overinflated, it may just be that you need to work on your balance with it. It took me a while to do the exericises on it without falling off, lol.

I use the ball last Saturday but I think the ball was overinflated, I could not do exercise well, maybe a little less of air will be good for me or maybe my arms are too short emoticon !!!!Let see how does it turns next Saturday. OOPS, very important, EXERCISE WAS GREAT emoticon

Nice job on the workout.

I was so excited when I got my stuff in the mail that I did both the ball and the band one after the other. Boy did that hurt the next day :(

It is a lot more difficult than it looks when you first start but it does get better. I think the band is easier than the ball workout, but only because my blance is not that great. It does get easier though!

I did my first strength exercise sesion today!!!!!!!!!! emoticon
I use the resistance band and try to to as Coach Nicole says (not that easy as it seems), I guess it will get better with the time, but rigth now i can not wait until Saturday to try stablility ball workout.

Adding the workouts in two segments ensures that the fitness minutes tracking is accurate (the tracker automatically counts 5 minutes per "exercise" added towards your Fitness Minute/SparkAmerica totals, so that is why it's broken up into two: to equal 10 minutes, which is approx. the length of each workout).

I don't know about adding it to favorites. You other option would be a "user-created" exercise that you also save as a favorite.

I just have two questions: Am I missing something? When I add this to my fitness tracker is says 1st half then one for 2nd half. If I do the whole say band work out am I doing both parts? Also, is there a way to add this to my favorites?

Hi everyone-

We've made an addition to the article "Getting Started with your SparkPeople Fitness Starter Kit" ( www.sparkpeople.com/resource/

) so that you can easily add your DVD workouts to your Fitness Tracker. At the bottom of that article, you'll see two different buttons: one to add the Ball workout and one to add the Band workout to the strength training section of your Fitness Tracker.
