Anita here, but ready to give up on this team. Not many people have joined our challenges. Maybe the idea of color groups is not desirable? If inactivity on groups continue, then I'll try changing to just individual challenges in 2013 and stop the idea of color groups.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference!

Thank you! I'm a ladybug nut, well fanatic really. You're right, AN is very tough and a lifelong battle. She still has her issues, but she is doing so great in comparison. When she went into treatment she was around 80 pounds, at 5ft 4in. We almost lost her. She's been home for 16 months after being in treatment full time for 8 solid months out of state. It was very tough, but even tougher in family therapy when I was chastized for speaking about my need to lose weight. Seriously, for three days, having to eat all this stuff "to be supportive". Wow! Anyway, with many many answered prayers, she pulled through and is maintaining around 120-125 and talks to us when her eating disorder is "talking" to her. I know I can do it too and my hubby is the most awesome and supportive man I could have asked for. But, I know the support I found on SP also was a big help to me, so thank you!! I'm back and I will make it ALL the way to my goal this time. 44.6 pounds to go.

Hi Ladybug, (love that name), AN is such a tough one to get over - many many congrats on moving forward with it and supporting her...... Absolutely, its now your turn!
Well at least now you know you can do it, cause you did it before. Good luck and welcome back to the road that takes you to success!

Well, I was gone for most of 2010. But, I am back and getting back on track. I had lost 40 pounds while my stepdaughter was in residential treatment for anorexia nervosa. When she came home, I, along with everyone else, had to eat whatever she ate basically. Over the next year, I gained 25 back!! She has a VERY high metabolism! I don't! So, now it's my turn to get healthy. She understands the doc said I must lose 50 pounds and she is doing great maintaining a healthy weight and eating habits. I WILL lose the 50 by mid-July!!! 2 weeks so far and down 5.4 pounds.
When I started back in January 09, I was at 239.2 and got down to 199. I was ecstatic to not have that "2" at the beginning. Then it came back... When I saw two of them (225)!!! That's when I said "THAT'S IT! It's my turn."

Thats really good, well done you - majority of members I talk to seem to take about 2 yrs, not just the weight loss but the lifestyle change and maintaining habits.
Those last few pounds are notorious for holding on!

Hello Lunchmom, good for you, how has your progress gone?
I'm doing ok, but in order to give me that final push that I need, I've started a new team BUMS AND TUMS to help keep me motivated and others to keep me honest! Leading by example is the best motivator for me!
