I just like the taste of coconut oil in my foods like peanut butter (some use it).
I cannot have soy oil so I have learned to read my labels.
It's not like we're going to consume gallons of the stuff - but this is just my own humble opinion.
I am old enough to no longer believe all the hype I read online.

If you've tried it or heard about it. What is your opinion? Are the corn and soy industry behind the "saturated fat scare?" Are we brainwashed by these big industries? I have a friend who is very educated about health and nutrition who has been trying for years to get me to eat coconut milk and oil, but I just couldn't bring myself to add more fat to my diet. She claims it will help your metabolism and I've just done some research and found many hopeful things, but I have another friend who is dead set against it. I researched for hours and found no personal testimonies of anyone harmed by eating this, but I found hundreds who claim weight loss, more energy, etc... Read my blog about it to get the link to the articles I read. I would love to hear from some of you all!
