1 bag banquet chicken (if you insist on breaded chicken...some family members do)
1 bag stir fry veggies
white or brown rice
1 bottle duck sauce or sweet and sour sauce, perferrably a brand name
1. heat up the banquet chicken in microwave or oven, try not to let pieces overcrowd themselves
2. boil minute rice
3. steam veggies
you can either a) have people build their own bowls...so they decide how much rice, chicken, sauce, or veggies they get (LOVE this, I don't need that sweet sauce too much, I need more veggies)
b) mix chicken and veggies in sweet sour sauce in one bowl, then spoon over rice (you get to portion the sweet sauce)
It's a sure fire way to get my family to eat veggies. I've also seen the sauce substituted for pineapple..but I haven't tried it.
