I want to be able to run a mile by 2013
Plan to enroll in college for next semester. I want to do this hopefully I won't chicken out!
My main goal for this year is to get healthy and stay healthy.
In the meantime, I plan to walk the 10K Terry Fox Run in September, get my house organized, reduce debt, and help my kids get focused.
Get healthy and stay that way!
I would like to start training to walk 5K again, try to get my time under 62 minutes this time.
I am 5 feet 5 inches tall.
Never Give Up, Never Surrender!
To get healthy and be active for myself and my kids.
I want to be in the best shape of my life by the end of 2012! Not necessarily the best "weight" because even when I was 115 pounds I had no muscle so that wasn't my best shape. My best shape is emerging!
each month my goals would change
My July goals are:
1) Lose my 5% weight goal
2) Get out of the 250 ville
3) Stick with my schedule from 6 am - 4 pm, (my time management plan)
4) Blog each week my weekly update ON TIME
5) Do 1 chapter of the bible study. (This month to finish Genesis 3)
6) Track my food and fitness each day
7) Come on to at least one sparkpeople group i am member of each day.
8) Work on my various self help modules with myself or those i do together with spark buddies
9) Write a letter to my dad ( i have an already stamped envelope with his name and address just no letter as of yet, he lives far away)
10) Eat healthy and better quality foods.

My 2012 goals would be to run in 2 - 5k races.
Lose 35 lbs.
Change the way I eat. Not just a diet but a lifelong way of eating for me and my family.

Lose 50 lbs!
Become a runner again! (love and miss it terribly)
Wear a bathing suit!
Get the whole family into a clean eating way of life!
My goals for the rest of April are:
Get calorie counts back into 1200 - 1550 range (I've been veering a bit out of that for the past few days)
Lose 6 pounds
Concentrate on getting in 5 servings of fruit and veg

Be able to be more active for my son
Quit smoking cigs

Here are my goals for 2012:
-Lose 70 lbs
- Eat nutrient rich foods, a lot of vegetables, fruit, beans, nuts and whole grains. Protein will be fish, chicken or eggs.
- Drink 64 - 120 oz of water daily, preferrably with lemon
- Eat within my calorie range 95% of the time (meaning I can have a cheat day maybe twice a month when having a date night with my husband)
-Plan weekly dates for my 3 yr old and myself (I have 6 month old twins, so he and I don't have a lot of opportunity to have alone time)
- Be consistant with my chores at home.. I'm still new at being a SAHM lol.
- Stay positive and read a daily inspiration or meditation.
- Work out atleast 3x a week. (For now)
My goals for January:
-Back to monthly weigh-in's
(too close to ideal weight, why stress, lol)
-1750 - 2000 fitness minutes
-Sparkpeople's 28 day boot camp
-Lower body regimen 4x a week
-Eat within my calorie range
-120 oz H2o per day

The goals that all of you have set for the year are wonderful! Way to go!
This is a brand new year and brand new start. Whatever mistakes I made in 2011 are now erased, no need to dwell on them, it doesn't change a thing.
I vow to:
~Each month reach my monthly Fitness Minutes and Water Intake goals.
~Take better care of myself, in turn, takes better care of my family. I will:
read, write in my stress journal, take a hot bath, take a moment to myself, go to the park with my kids, and just all around make sure I find time to do fun stuff.
~Keep track of my food in a much more accurate way....I usually forget to put it in the food tracker and then can't remember exactly what I ate. Not good - so I will do better.
~Fast food once a week. I know it is unrealistic for me to take it out of my life completely....so I will limit it.
~I will make myself a better person this year!

Okay, so here is my January Goals
1. Loose at least 10 lbs
2. To read the Bible at least 10 mins every day
3. Find a Church for my family to go to
4. By the end of January to be drinking 64oz water a day
5. To get at least 2 Avon Customers
And thru 2012:
1. Loose at least 60 lbs
2. Read the ENTIRE Bible
3. Remarry my husband in July
4. Explore Texas with my kids
5. by Dec-have 15 regular Avon customers
6. Get my photos organized
7. Get my house organized
8. Have money saved
I am sure I will think of other things I want to add to this list later LOL

Wow 2012 already!!!!
Well I have been a member to Spark People for just over a year and I can say that I started and stopped many, many times. So many that I am still the same weight that I started out at. I didn't take Spark seriously and just thought the weight would magically disappear. Well I was wrong, :(.
I am happy to say that I have been planning for a while for my come back to the spark with a very specific goal in mind. To be overall healthy and to not pretend that I am being healthy, by buying the food and making it for my family then eating junk myself. I am going to eat healthy and going to exercise and darn it get to where I want to be.
I think I was thinking I was tricking my brain by buying and preparing healthy meals and then eating junk when no one was looking and in my brain this was being healthy...duh. :(
So 2012, is time to get real. Really eat healthy and really lose the weight, no more mind games.
I look forward to feeling good about my body again and also getting my mind straight, simplify life and doing the things that truly make me happy.
Specific goals.(starting weight 197.5lbs)
Short term- by the end of February be down 10lbs at least
Mid-term- By my birthday (June 19th) Be down to 175.5lbs at least
Long-term- By Christmas to be at my goal weight of 135lbs
other goals- To simplify my life and only engage in things I really enjoy, instead of feeling burdened to have to do something I do not care to do
- To be a better mum this year not lazy and self involved.
-To read to my girls each night, to cuddle and snuggle as much as possible.
-To feel like I use to, like woman, to do my hair, to put on makeup, put on jewlery and feel sexy again.

My goals for 2012,
Log on sparkpeople every day
wash my face twice daily
workout 30 min a day 3-4 times a week
eat within my calorie range
make better decisions when it comes to food
write down all of my food intake good or bad
write in a journal daily
In the new year my goal is to be below 200 lbs by the end of the year. I want to run in a 5k that is in April and another in October. I want my time to be better each time. Taking a note from Lisa, I want to be a woman again, not just a housewife. So that means taking a shower in the mornings, doing my hair and dressing nicer before I do anything else. This will in turn make me feel better and my relationship with my husband be better. I would also like to be more active with my children. Taking them to the park and playing with them at the park at least twice a week. And reading to them every day.

Goals for 2012
~ Eat Healthier
~ stay on top of things alittle better
~ continue to find new ways to make me a stronger and healthier person all around
~ Learn to have alittle more patience
~Learn to not worry about what others say or do.. and be less judge mental of myself and others!!
~Learn that some things just can't and don't have to be perfect!
~Find the woman in me... I know this sounds crazy, but I got lazy when I became a housewife. baggy shorts or yoga pants and baggy Tshirts are my norm, and I hate that. I'm ready to find my femininity again. or for me maybe for the first time ever!!! ( Thanks LISADHARPER1 for reminding me of this one and the last one!)
~Put more into my house, I want to get more organized

Lots of hurdles in my life right now. I'm getting through them slowly. I'm gonna make it!!!

~complete spring into shape bootcamp challenge
~only eat sushi once every 2 weeks
~spend more time outside with the kids
~lose 5 pounds

~Reach my goal weight by May, my original was April, but I'm giving me myself some cushion!
~Complete one Bible study a month. I go to a group every Wednesday, but I'm hoping to do more on my own.
Here is a better 2012, not just with weight, but with my whole life!
