Thanks for the advice and encouragement AngelMom37! I'll try a few of these tips and let you know how it goes. Now... if I can just get to the nearest farmer's market.

Hi TLDENNIS5,
I have the same problem in my house.I end up cooking to different meals but my thing is going to the farmers market and buying in bulk it is a lot cheaper.I also shop for family size packages of meat and break them down according to meal preparation. I also sit down and do a meal plan with all family members and then make my grocery list accordingly to a 2 week shopping list.I also prepare some meals ahead of time so if I am not home my kids can grab one out of the freezer and warm it up in microwave or the oven depends on the age of children.Mine children are 18 yrs.,17 yrs. and 8 yrs.old.If you have anymore question feel feel to ask and I will try to ask.I am in Guelph,Ontario Canada.Take care have a wonderful weekend.

Hello Team:

My challenge is why I've chosen to join this team. I have a family of five. Me and my youngest daughter are transitioning into a flexitarian lifestyle with our nutrition. However, my challenge is being able to include some of the must-have items we want to eat in my grocery budget (i.e. organic foods, turkey tenderloin, lamb, asparagus, etc). We are doing what we can with what we've got, but there's always the issue of cooking two kinds of meals for two different diet styles. My husband and our other two children are sticking with their mainstream eating.

Any tips or advice I can get to help us all eat well without breaking the bank would be very appreciated.
