Essential Oil Room Air Freshener Spray Recipe
1 cup distilled water
8-10 drops essential oils, of your choice
Deodorizing Room Spray
6 drops bergamot essential oils
1 drop eucalyptus essential oil
2 drops lemon essential oils
Pet Deodorizing Room Spray
6 drops cedar wood essential oils
3 drops tea tree oil
Apple Pie Spice Room Air Freshener
6 drops cinnamon essential oils
3 drops clove essential oils
Orange Spice Room Air Freshener
5 drops orange essential oils
2 drops cinnamon essential oils
Mood Lifter Air Freshener Spray
4 drops chamomile essential oils
3 drops orange essential oils
2 drops yang yang essential oils
Stress Reliever Air Freshener Spray
4 drops lavender oil
3 drops rose essential oils
2 drops clary sage essential oils (optional)
Sleepy-Hour Relaxation Air Freshener Spray
4 drops lavender oil
3 drops chamomile essential oils
Basic: Pour the cup of distilled water into the spray bottle. Add the drops of essential oils and shake very well. Cap the bottle, and allow to sit for a few hours before using. Shake the bottle before each use to evenly distribute the scented oil throughout the water. Use the label to describe what sort of air freshener each bottle is. And be sure to use the fine mist setting on your bottle, so the spray will be distributed nicely in the air. Here are some interesting ideas for wonderful air freshener sprays, but you can go ahead and create your own favorite blends using scents that you love the most! To use the following recipe, just add the recommended amounts of essential oil to the spray bottle with the distilled water, and follow the instructions as above. Please note that essential oils can vary in potency- for this reason, you can add or reduce the amounts of essential oil recommended in each recipe, if you find that the essential oil you've bought is either stronger or weaker than expected. Mood Lifter Air Freshener Spray: Follow directions as with other recipes above. This recipe will make you feel more light hearted, and less depressed. Stress Reliever Air Freshener Spray: Follow directions as with other recipes above. This air freshener will help relieve stress, and it smells really wonderful! Sleepy-Hour Relaxation Air Freshener Spray: Both of these essential oils have wonderful, sedative effects. Spray a little in your bedroom a half hour before going to bed, to enjoy the soothing effects of these natural sedatives. Or spray a little on your pillow or bedclothes to enjoy a whole night of wonderful, restorative sleep.
Soda Bath Fizz
You'll need the Following:
1 1/3 c. Epsom Salts or Sea Salts
1 1/3 c. Baking Soda
1/2 c. Powdered Milk
1/2 c. citric acid powder (I purchase this in bulk at walmart in the pharmacy section or at health food stores in the beer/wine making section)20 Oz. Plastic Soda or Water Bottle, washed out & Dried thoroughly (or 24 oz and add 2 T. More powdered milk)10-15 drops of Vanilla Essential Oil Or Essential oil of your choice (Please note, Fragrance oils Can be used, but they tend to irritate sensitive skin. Essential oils are pure & less likely to irritate or cause reaction.) See differences Now.. How to Make Them! In a large bowl combine the salts & baking soda , stirring thoroughly. Carefully add in the powdered milk, squishing it through your hands or sifting it to break up any lumps.
Next, add your essential oils for your desired fragrance (see list of ideas below!), and blend well. Finally, add your citric acid, and mix it in if children are making these, be sure they wash their hands immediately following this step.) Next, Roll a piece of paper into a cone shape to use as a funnel, or use a funnel & carefully pour the bath fizz gently into the bottle. The Contents may settle a bit, tap it gently on the counter, continue filling & then cap it off tightly. Now.. It's time to decorate your ...Soda Bath Fizz. (This is a view of what your fizz can do!)You can decorate your bottle several ways.... by adding a strip of paper (printed on your computer) as a label, or with pretty ribbons. Let your imagination run wild as you design a "soda".
Cream Soda Fizz: Vanilla Essential Oil
Cherry Vanilla Fizz: simply add 2 pkgs of unsweetened Cherry Kool-aid to the above recipe. The color will be a very light pink, & smell delicious.
Ginger-Ale : Omit Vanilla Essential oil & add 10 drops Ginger Essential Oil & a couple small slices of dried ginger root if desired. "Ginger Ale Fizz - soak out whatever "ales" you."
Tropical Paradise: add 2 pkgs tropical punch kool-aid
Grape Soda Fizz: Omit Essential Oil & add 2 pkgs Grape Kool-aid
Orange Soda Fizz: omit essential oil & add 2 pkgs orange kool-aid
Orange Cream Soda Fizz: vanilla essential oil & 2 pkgs orange cool aid.
