I would also recommend a GOOD pair of tennis shoes that give you support.

Agree that 10 pound weight may be the most you will need. That was the max for me when I did it this past Spring. Another major thing you need is a measuring tape, most programs get one mailed with them, but make sure you measure and take pictures. Highly important, sometimes the scale doesn't move but you go down in inches big time. I only lost a couple of pounds but lost 24 inches. Had I not measured I would of given up. I would suggest getting adjustable weights you can get them at walmart for 30.00 the go up to 40lbs all together. You will need this for the push phase as you will only be doing about 8 reps in that phase so you need to really push yourself. Other than that you can start with 3 to 5 lbs and the resistance band for the first month.

I love CE it is a great program it really helped condition me but you need to increase your cardo if you want to burn the fat off. I hoped this helped.

Hi there!
You don't actually have to have anything but the resistance bands, but if you prefer to use weights you'll probably need a couple of heavier ones. If you are brand new to weight lifting, I would bet that 10 lbs would be the heaviest you would need - it sure was enough for me! I think that a 7 lb pair and 10 lb pair would set you up nicely. But! You may want to wait and see if you like the band, way cheaper!
Oh, and lots of protein choices. ;-) Chicken breasts get pretty old pretty fast.

I am still doing research on CE, I'm pretty much sold on ordering, but needed to find out what equipment I should have? I currently have a set of 3lb hand weights and a 5lb set of hand weights and plenty of space to work out in. I did see the package comes with a resistance band and the other band.

What else should I be looking at to start?
