I've been doing CLX for 6 weeks. I have lost 1 pound and at least 1 clothing size already. I was wearing size 14-16 when I started, and now I need to buy size 12. I can see my muscles. It's very exciting! Don't let the scale rule your world. Focus on your clothing size and measurements and how you look and feel.
I wouldn't worry about gaining weight at this time in program. I gained weight upfront too and actually only lost about 3 pounds the full 90 days BUT I lost 24 inches (15 inches were mainly around my hips, waist, and chest). This is why it's so important to measure and take pictures prior to a program (if you haven't do it today!)
Since I started CLX I've gained nearly 4 pounds. I'm only on week 2, day 4. I have added calories as I was eating around 1300-1400 a day before on my weight loss plan and I figured that wasn't enough for these workouts. Plus I felt so hungry and shaky if I didn't add them. I'm listening to my body, eating when I need to, eating actual, real foods and not processed ones, focusing on lean proteins, fruits/veg, whole grains. Has it just been too short a time? Is my body just trying to adjust? It could be cyclical, too. I guess I just need to keep doing what I'm doing and wait it out, since the other alternative is to quit and I'm not about to do that!
I have a friend who did boot camp years ago and she told me that she gained 8 pounds but her clothes fit so much better. I'm okay with that. I'm just wondering if anyone else saw an increase or stall in weight loss during CLX. I honestly never thought I'd weigh as little as I do anyway since I was so overweight my whole life. I want to focus on overall health and not the number. Just wondering what others have experienced.
