Well I forgot that my family is coming out of town from Texas and will be here for 5 days so it will be hard to start working out this week so I'll start this Monday and it will give my wrist one more week to heal. @DUMITRISS congrats on finishing Phase 2 now you'll be on the Lean Phase. I hear this is the Phase you get the most results from so stick in there 4 more weeks and you'll have completed the CLX! I've did Insanity for 5 weeks and then I gave up because I wanted to to do CLX so I purchased it and weeks went by without doing anything. I wish I stuck it out. I'm so confused because I haven't did any of the programs straight through. I do want to trim down for the fall to get into my smaller jeans. I think I'm going to do 3 days of CLX and 3 days of Insanity. Or maybe I should just do Insanity and then do CLX. I'll make my mind up this week lol.

I finished month 2 yesterday! YEEY! I have to admit I was expecting it to be more challenging. Can't say I see much change on the scale, but my waist is getting thinner. I'm trying something new now, and starting yesterday I'm doing Turbo Fire. I've had it since before getting CLX, but it seemed too much to start with. I also don't really enjoy doing cardio that much, but Chalean makes it so much fun! After I finish the 20 weeks program I'll start the Turbo Fire/ CLX hybrid. That has me really excited.

@NESHA_32 - Insanity is tough! I tried it 3 months ago, but was only able to hang on for 2 weeks! I was completely exhausted after that. I hope you do better emoticon emoticon emoticon !

Starting Phase 1 again Monday, because my wrist feels strong enough to lift now. I'm debating if I should do an Insanity hybrid with CLX or just do CLX and add cardio and then do Hybrid next round.

I am doing Push just started week two. Had done week 1 starting July 1 put then got busy and was only able to lift once during my week two so started over. My eating this last week has been crappy due to sweet cravings ( starting my period) getting back on track now. Have too. Good luck everybody.

Hi Everyone!!

It's been a while since I posted and I just stopped to see how everyone's doing. I have been going strong with my CLX program. I have been having a hard time with my nutrition basically throughout this whole phase. I don't really blame it on the phase (PUSH) although it is a bit harder to control hunger since I am lifting heavier this month. I was on vacation 2 weeks ago and went off track the week before so needless to say I haven't been doing very good in that department. I am back on track now and am hoping I can drop back down to what I was a few weeks ago by the end of this week. This week will be my last week in the PUSH phase and I am excited to be on to the final phase of the program. I too have put in extra cardio mostly on the circuit days and occasionally on the other days when I have more time. I absolutely love this program and am thinking of going for a second round of it when I finish.

You guys are doing GREAT! Keep pushing play!! emoticon

Is it ok if I join this thread? I started CLX/TF/RB/TJ hybrid on Memorial day. I have been taking a week off after each phase and doing something mild like walking and yoga and then doing my weigh in. So each phase for me is 5 weeks instead of 4. I lost 8 lbs in burn phase and I will be starting week 3 of push tomorrow.

The hybrid really isn't so much a hybrid. Basically, on circuit days I either do a hiit, tj 20 min, or rockin' body basics. Then on my other days, I try to do a 30 minute cardio from one of those 3 programs. So it's 6 days of cardio and 3 days strength. I get bored really quick and this has helped me with my exercise dvd ADD. :)

Hey guys I hope everyone workouts are going great, but for me unfortunately I won't be able to work out for a few weeks till my wrist heals due to a car accident I was recently in. I can't wait to jump back in and I will be starting from the beginning once I can lift weights safely.

Back with an update; I finished month 1 and I'm currently in my second week of month 2. Had some rough days at the end of last week going way over my calories 3 days in a row and was really close to giving up and stop, but managed to get back on track. That was after I realized that I've invested so much time and effort in myself so far, that I've become quite addicted to working out daily and eating healthy that I just couldn't give up even if I wanted to. That and the fact that I did a weigh in, and I was expecting to weigh a lot more than the week before, but I had actually lost weight! Not a lot, but it was enough emoticon ; baby steps all the way!

I've reached my first major goal this morning, lost 10 kg so far, that's 22 pounds! I can't say I can see major changes on my body though, but the clothes do fit a lot better and my measurements have shrunk a bit. I'm just happy I'm on the right track! I won't be completely satisfied until I reach my goal and see my old clothes look like this emoticon haha!

Hope everyones is doing well!

I just found this challenge and I'm in! I started CLX on 06/18/2012 and am on week 2. I am not doing the diet, even though I have been watching calories and eating healthier since January.

I added the routine to my run/walk regime to help me out of a weight-loss plateau I began experiencing - down 30 lbs so far... My daughter had done the program as a break from Insanity, which I can't do because of all the high impact stuff hurts my knees! She's very fit and a runner. She recommended CLX to me as a way to introduce some strength training into my run/walk regimen.

I'll be anxiously watching this challenge to help keep me on track!

Hi Everyone!!

I started CLX @ the end of May and just recently completed the first 30 days. I lost about 4 lbs and 1 inch off of all areas. I am feeling stronger and noticed my muscles getting bigger. I did have to say that I tried extremely hard to lose a lb a week for the first month. I ate mainly, fish, chicken, and salads for my meals and I don't follow the meal plan. I do drink shakeology (for breakfast) and think that it makes me feel 10x's more energized then I did without drinking it. I have been trying to add in more fruit and vegetables into my diet. Ultimately I would like to be a clean eater, but I know this is going to be a hard thing for me to do as I LOVE sweets and going out to eat. Throughout my first month I ate out about 1x per week and still lost weight. My calorie range is 1200-1500, but I tried to calorie cycle (1 day at the top of my range & 1 day at the low end of my range) so that I didn't feel too deprived. My snacks usually consisted of hard boiled eggs (only the whites), yogurt, fruit, and cocoa powered almonds.

As far as my workouts go. I stick to the scheduled workouts and typically do turbo fire videos for extra cardio. If I have more time then I will do Fire 45, 45EZ, or Fire 55EZ. When I am low on time I will do a HIIT workout or Fire 30. Most days I only add in the turbo fire when am on my circuit days so Burn 1, 2, 3, & Push 1, 2, 3. I did do a HIIT 20 yesterday with the burn intervals and extreme abs and I think I over did it because I am pretty sore today. I'm not regretting this decision though. I actually need to get back on track because ever since I took my measurements I kind of spiraled out of control. This is a new week and new goals. I need to lose the weight I gained this week +1 lb for the week (if possible),

Thanks for creating this challenge! I really enjoyed reading everyone's comments and look forward to seeing everyones progress throughout the next couple of months.

Good luck to you all! emoticon

Since this is my 2nd week and last week was my B Day week I didn't eat healthy but I did complete every workout. This week I'm eating more healthy. I eat whole grains and wheat pasta and breads, chicken, fish and salads. I'm using the rest of my Shakeology and will resume back to my 100% Whey protein. Shakeolgy taste good but I didn't lose weight off it like they claim. I am a smoker trying to quite and I did drink alcohol so that may be the reason. I'm am tapering off those bad habits and focusing on my workout and goals. I try and eat 4-5 balanced mini meals a day and get my protein in to build muscle eating around 1200-1500 calories a day. So far this being my 2nd week I haven't lost any weight, but I tend to lose more inches especially working with weights and build muscle as I need it. So I can't wait to take my measurements and pictures in 2 more weeks after this 2nd week to see my progress. I'm loving the CLX workouts and enjoy doing them and I'm so glad there not an hour long. It makes it easy to fit my workout in and not get burned out. I can already feel my muscles getting tighter and that's a great feeling! After this week I might throw in some exercise work on a stationary bike along with the TurboFire Greatest HITTs DVD that came with my CLX for extra cardio in my days off for faster fat loss. I also just started taking OxyOlite Pro as a fat burner today as well.

Hey, Nesha! Thank you for welcoming me! I have to say working out with this program has been great so far. I love it. I don't follow the diet plan or have any shakes (I was never a big fan of those) but I do take multivitamins daily just until I can get used to eating more fruits and vegetables. I do however watch my diet (around 1200 calories), because I've tried the working out but eating everything/anytime and that was a huge failure. It did motivate me to keep track of everything and so far I've lost some pounds (not many) but that was not so important as the inches that disappeared! All my clothes look a thousand times better now! I can't wait to see what my results will be at the end of the burn phase. I didn't take pictures, but I did take my measurements.
How about you guys? Do you enjoy doing it? What eating habits do you have? Can you see any changes so far (physical or otherwise)?

Hi Diana welcome to our CLX group! Glad you found us and looking forward to meeting our goals together. I'm here for you and we can motivate each other in this forum, especially since were all in the Burn Phase and will progress along each other. Your just one week ahead of me. Congrats your halfway through the Burn Phase and about to take your Burn Phase results. Did you take pictures and measurements? I did so I can keep track of my inch loss because I need to add muscle as well as lose fat. I tend to lose a lot of inches more than scale weight.

Just checking with everyone to see how your doing at the start of this week. I'm currently on my 2nd week of Chalean Extreme today and Tuesdays are my rest days. I might do an exercise bike for 20 minutes or the TurboFire Greatest HIITs or just REST lol. Last week Thursday was my Birthday so I drank and ate what I wanted to while still doing all the workouts. This week my goal is still to complete all my workouts and eat better. Does anyone follow the Chalean Extreme eating plan? I don't but I do try and eat 5-6 small meals a day and drink Shakeology or protein shake and eat more healthy balanced meals. Does anyone use any supplements? Also does anyone else add extra cardio to CLX?

Hey everyone!
My name is Diana. I'm in my third week of Chalean Extreme and I just love it. I do a sort of a hybrid, I take no days off in case I lose my motivation (that has happened to me before) so on those days I usually do the circuit from the previous day or Burn it off. I'm so glad you've decided to create this topic Nesha-32! I was really wondering what was I going to do all summer to make sure I keep it up with the program. This will help me a lot! Good luck to everyone:D!

Hello Ladies

I haven't done CLX in over a year. I started yesterday with burn interval. Today was my 1st day following the fitness calendar. I just finished circuit one and I feel amazing. Usually I would be experiencing the MONDAY blahs...but my head is clear. I feel stronger and I am ready to take on the day.

I'm going to do it. Looks like we'll be synced on the start date.
Cool!

Ok Thanks CARDAMOMMA! I'll be starting tomorrow Monday the 11th. Looking forward to reaching our goal together. Just let me know what you decide. I was thinking of adding some jogging in as well since it's nice out.

Hey Nesha! I've been doing the hybrid, but I might switch over to just doing extreme, and throw some HIIT workouts into my running workouts during the summer (and save Turbo Fire for winter when I don't like running outside as much.)
If you're starting today, maybe I'll jump in with you back on day one of CXT. Thanks for posting--I'll let you know what I end up doing.

Hello it's Nesha_32 and I'm new to this site. While going through the CLX threads I didn't notice any challenges for June-Sept going on. Today is the last day of my 3 day Shakeology Cleanse and I will be starting my 1st round of Chalean Extreme tomorrow June 11th for the complete 90 days. This thread is for encouragement and support for those who will be working out with CLX through the summer with me to record process and share ideas and recipes you love.
