I just finished the for month CLX program. I didnt see the scale go down but lost inches. I have to do my final measurement tomorrow. I am taking 1 month of to switch things up and I will be doing a 4 week program by Bob Harper using inside out method DVD's. These are really intense cardio with weights. I just need a switch, but might try to do CLX starting over with burn phase three nights a week. I always get up and work out at 5am. No distractions, kids are still sleeping. My time to get it done. If I wait until evening its to busy with the kids home, homework, track practice, etc. I do love CLX!
Thanks Nerlande. It makes me feel better that others have had this happen also. I am definitely firming and clothes are fitting better. I just started Turbo Fire and really like it, I think I will do a hyrid with Chalene Extreme...don't want to lose the muscle that I have gained. Hopefully the cardio does the trick.
NYCGIRL60 that has been my experience with CLX as well. I'm in the last 2 weeks of lean and though I see the difference in the way my clothes fit, the weight just isn't going anywhere. What I discovered with CLX is that especially if you have a lot of weight to lose it is good to add extra cardio every day or at least on weight days. I was able to do that at first during the Burn phase but as the workout progressed it took way too much out of me to continue. I'm thinking instead I will alternate each round of CLX with a round of cardio (Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire or Insanity). I'm on my third round right now.

I'm getting ready to start Chalean Extreme again starting with the Lean Phase. The first time I toned up, but no weight loss. This time I will incorporate other aerobic activity with it as I think, for me anyway, there has got to be some more cardio added in on the weight days. Try that and see if it helps.

You should look at your measurements and compare that way. Muscle takes up less room than fat does but can keep you at the same weight b/c it weighs more. Maybe you are smaller but have greater muscle mass so the number hasn't moved. Just something to think about...

I have been stuck in a 5-7 lb plateau for months. I have worked out pretty consistently since last summer. I had a 10 lb loss when I first started but have not any signicficant results. My calories have been 1500-1700/daily. I am currently doing Chalene Extreme in the Lean Circuit. This is my third week. I have about 1.5 wks to complete this program. I have seen firming results but pretty much no weight loss. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Feeling really frustrated! Thanks.
