Hi Everyone!

I finish my last Lean Curcuit tomorrow. That is round 2 for me since the beginning of the year. I weigh in on Saturday, but if I meet my goal then it will be 25 lbs off with each round. (Yay!)

I am going to start again, but I have a short vacation from the 15th to 19th. So I'm still debating what I'm going to do next week, then I will take my vacation days, then I will start the next new round on the 22nd. I love pushing to see how far I can go and how strong I can get. I want to lose at least 25 more pounds, which I am hoping to do by the time I finish this next round. Then I will decide what my next goal will be. Originally I thought that would do it, but I think I'm not quite going to be where I want to be by then. We'll see.

So, it looks like SMUSCIA and I are going again. Who else is in?!

Hello! Congrats on your weight loss smusica!

I only lost 5 lbs on the first go around but didn't finish the lean circuit. I am actually doing a lot more cardio (Running) because I am starting to train for a marathon that's happening in January. I'm running 4 days a week and I'm planning on doing clx on my x-training days to keep up strength training.

5 lbs is actually quite a lot for me. I'm only 4'11''. But I feel much healthier and energetic so I'll take what I can get. emoticon

As for the shakeology, I didn't really like it either. And I'm still shopping around for the right protein drink. I have yet to try your whey protein. I will as soon as I finish the batch I currently have. Good luck ladies!

Hi Ladies!

I wanted to give an update! Unfortunately, my hosue got hit by a nasty storm on Sunday and we lost power for 3 days, so I didn't get to finish my last week of the Lean circuit :(

Instead, I am going to start the whole 90 days again (that was my plan anyways) on monday.

But I wanted to at least share that I lost 11 lbs on the first go around. I don't have any other stats than that, but I thought that was pretty good :D

I have 14 more to go to get to my goal weight and hopefully this next round of ChaLean Extreme will do that!

Are any of you planning to go another round? Any other updates?

No problem... and I tried the Greenology and all I can say is ICK! I have tried green monster skakes and those are ok, but this was just gross, it was like grass :(

Green monsters are another options, spinach, kale and bunch of fruit and then you can add protien powder to that. I don't eat a lot of spinach so the one I made had a very earthy flavor but I think adding in some extra fruits and maybe some sweeter yogurt might help that.

Let me know what you think of the Shakeology!

Thanks for the info smusica! I have some sample packets and going to taste test it tomorrow. If I don't like it, I'll def try out the Gold Whey protein & muffin. That sounds so much better anyways lol.... mmmmmm muffins...

Hey VIVIENNED, To answer your question, I tried the Chocolate Shakeology and it was very rich in chocolate flavor, almost too much for me. There was also an aftertaste that I didn't care for. I have a package of the Greenology that I haven't had a chance to try.

Instead I used Gold Whey Protien Powder and mix it with almond milk. Then I add in a Vita muffin and basicall get all the benefits of Shakeology - the protien and the nutriants!

Hi ladies... I thought I would give my 1st 30 days check in! After the Burn month, I lost 8.2 lbs and about a half an inch to an inch in all areas!

So far, I am pleased with the results, but I definitely noticed a difference if I didn't follow the food guide or at least tried to keep my calories around 1400 and my protien up high!

I am 4 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight and 19 from my final goal :D

Keep it up ladies!!

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. I weighed myself again and have lost 3.5 lbs. That's a lot for me, and I'll take it!!! I see more definition in my arms and will continue working. I have to admit, I was a bit depressed for a minute because of the scale not moving, but I have faith and I'm chugging along. I remember the first time I did this program I didn't lose any weight until the Lean Phase anyway.

I was wondering if any of you are taking Shakeology & how it's working for you?

Hi Ladies,

Glad to hear some are doing well. The one's with no weight loss or inches lost think about how strong you are getting. Think about your endurance and energy you have that you didn't have before. I am in my second week of Push. Wow, Push is a different beast. I am really enjoying it. I can't believe that lifting weights make you sweat. Unbelievable. I am still doing Zumba and Turbokick on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My knees have been hurting me so I took three days off to see if Joint Juice might help and my back has been hurting. I am one workout behind but will make that up hopefully by Saturday then I will be back on track. I am seeing the definition in my arms. My thighs are harder. I'm loving it.

I have lost 2 inches in my arms. 2 inches in my thighs and 1 inch off my calf. 1/2 inch in my waist and 3 inches off of my hips. I measure again June 1. My arms and waist are my biggest concern. My arms are now 19 inches so I have a long way to go for them to be at 12 inches. The waist is also going so slow so need to do more ab work. Been pretty lazy with it.

Well keep up all the good work and stay focused. This is for us. The more muscle you have the more your body burns so BURN BABY BURN!!

Angela

I know it's hard, but be patient! You will see changes. You are building the foundation to be really strong during the Push and Lean phases, and THEN you will see big changes. Hang in there!

Hi VIVIENNED - I am in the middle of Burn Week 3 and so far, I have lost about 5 lbs but I am sticking pretty close to the food guide, not totally, dinner is hard for me because 1) I am allergic to fish and shellfish and 2) my husband doesn't want to eat "diet" food! But what I have tried to do is keep my protien intake even or higher than my carb intake and that seems to be helping, at least I think. I like carbs so I can't cut them down too far, but I have tried to find low carb or high fiber versions of bread, buns and tortillas.

Also, I add in cardio on the Cicuit days and add in a cardio video (either burn it off or burn intervals on one of my rest days).

Not sure if any of those help or maybe you are doing them already!

Do you cloths feel any different? I think sometimes that is a better measure than the scale :D

Keep going, you will see results!!

hmmmm... I was hoping that I would be wrong but I have not budged an inch or lost any weight. I'm just hoping that I'm replacing some fat with muscle at this point and will be re-evaluating my eating habits. The first time I did this program, the burn phase didn't do much for me either so I'm hoping it's the same thing.

Hope you've gotten better results than I have!

I just finished the first week of the Burn circuit. I completed the 90-day cycle right before Easter, and am really excited to be doing it again. This thread has been kinda quiet - how is everyone doing??

Hi all,

I started on Saturday with Burn Circuit 1, then did some yard work. On Monday I did Burn Circuit 2 and added 30 minutes of cardio at lunch. This morning I did the Burn Intervals and Extreme Abs which I loved!

I definitely need heavier weights though. I only have 3, 5 and 8 and apparently, carrying a 6 month old around all the time makes you stronger than you think :P

I am also trying to stick to the eating guide. Dinner is a little hard with my husband and that most of the recipes are fish/seafood (which I am allergic to) but I think I am doing well so far.

keep up the work ladies :D

Hello!

How's everything going ladies? I'm doing "Okay"... Still keeping up with the CLX workouts and I even took a few hours of Samba lessons for fun with my friends. We had wine, which I know is bad, but we had a great time. :)

I haven't been running much lately, but will start up again this evening.

You're all doing so great! We're more than halfway through the first month already!

Hi,

How is everyone doing? Are you still lifting weights and working out?? I took my two days off over the weekend.
I have been doing Burn Curcuit on Mon Wed Fri along with some Insanity for 20 mins. Then on Tuesday and Thursday I am taking a Zumba class and TurboKick. I try to also walk in the evening with my daughter on those days for like 30 mins.

Hope all is well.

Hi, I did Burn Curcuit 3 (Friday). I see I am going to have to add more cardio. Her cardio days would be fine if I haven't done Insanity. So I will do Insanity Pure Cardio and Plyometrics on those days. Hope everyone is doing ok and working their plan. Imagine how we will all look in 90 days. Closer to our dreams, desires and healthy.

Hi. Yesterday I took my day off and walked the dog 55 minutes. I'm about to deliver newspapers for 30 minutes, not sure if I'll get a BB workout in today or not. Feeling really sick with a cold.

I did I've Got Abs and Lean 2. I pulled my inner thigh muscle during Tuesday's workout, so rested yesterday and took it really easy on my leg this morning. Not sure what I will do to workout tomorrow, it will depend on how my leg feels. I hope to be able to do something!

Hi! I did Day 6 Burn it off and Recharge this morning and walked the dog for 15 minutes this afternoon. I also washed walls for an hour.

My Shakeology was Tropical Strawberry with two bananas, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 2 cups filtered water, 1/2 scoop Ultra Clear Renew powder.

Good Morning Everyone!
emoticon

I ran 5k this morning (that's about 3.2 miles) at the park and have Burn Circuit 2 on the schedule. I'm doing some running because I have signed up for Yuri's Night Fun Run in Houston this Saturday. The reason I even started is per doctor's orders. My cholesterol level is high and I need to lower it, so I've been doing runs for about 30 minutes 3 times a week. Oh, I used to hate running soooooooooo much. Anyways, now I'm back on CLX!

I know this is not a running thread but here are some tips if you ever want to start. Actually these tips work well with any workout:

1. Drink a protein drink right before or right after your session. I usually workout early in the morning or right after work, so my stomach doesn't have very much in it.
2. Workout early in the morning (if at all possible). You'll set the pace for the rest of your day. Also, studies show that you burn more and have more weight loss, which is a plus!
3. STRETCH!
4. Chart your progress. Has everyone taken their measurements? Do it now if you haven't already.
5. Give yourself a break. You don't have to be a fitness saint to get results. Just do the best you can and follow the 80/20 rule.
6. Drink your water! Be sure to hydrate throughout the day.
7. Mix it up. Who says you have to workout indoors? I took my runs outside and I'm beginning to like it much more than those teadious treadmills. And sometimes I take my laptop to the back porch and do my CLX.
emoticon

I am by far no means of a fitness expert, but these tips worked for me. So I just wanted to share...

Now who's ready for Burn Circuit 2?!

Hi, I am in with you. I just started today April 2nd with Burn Circuit 1. I think this is great to have someone to do it with and have some accountability. So I am one day behind you. Keep up the good work.
I had 143 pounds to lose and just changing my eating habits I lost 14 pounds and this past month I lost 10 pounds on my first month of Insanity. So now I'm down to 119 pounds to go.

Sometimes in life we all have to be selfish and think of ourselves. Now is my time to focus on me and not everyone else.

Good morning!

I'm doing Ab Blaster and Burn 3 today. I'll come back after I'm done.

For breakfast I had Shakeology Tropical Strawberry made with goji berries, banana, cacao nibs, flax seed and my UltraClear Renew powder. YUM!

emoticon for joining me! It doesn't matter if you're 2 weeks behind or ahead... Or however long... :) I will still love to hear about your progress. Just post and share! It will keep all of us motivated to know someone else is in this journey with us.

I know I said April 1st, but I have to be honest with all of you. I didn't do my workout and made it up today.

The last time I did CLX, I didn't follow it to the "T". I followed the schedule as closely as possible, but I learned that I shouldn't beat myself up if I missed one workout. I just made it up the next day. Now, I'm not saying you have the excuse to miss a workout, but do the best you can and it will still work for you!

Let's do this!!!

I would, but I'm moving to a new state in about 3 weeks (plus a conference this week) so I won't be able to restart ChaLean Extreme until probably May 1st. But, it's definitely on my two do list. I made it through the Burn phase, then had a surgery and just haven't gotten back into it.

I would love to join in, but I will be about 2 weeks behind. Next week I will finish the 4th week of the Lean Circuit, then take a week off while I am gone over spring break. I am going to start the Burn Circuit again on the 16th. I lost over 20 lbs with the program (started in January), and I am hoping for better results this time through.

Let's do this!

I started March 26 with my coach and nine other participants, but count me in.

Hello!

I am starting CLX on April 1st!!! Anyone want to join me?

I've done it before and gotten great results. Then I steered off because of pregnancy, and my baby is now 10 months old. I think it's time I tried to get back on schedule!
