I wear them - funny that you mention this - my husband does this workout with me and recently commented that he thought it odd that Chalene and the others did not wear gloves. I've worked out with and without, but definitely prefer to wear them for both grip and irritation.
Tomorrow IS another day - to take me one step closer to my goals!
I wear a pair of inexpensive gloves I purchased at Target. They have lightly padded palms BUT I actually put them on the opposite hand so that the padded part is not in my palm. I have very small hands and that padding makes it hard for me to hold onto the weight. I just need something between my hand and the dumbell, if that makes sense.
I dont wear workout gloves. After I work out and take a shower I do put lotion on my hands and feet. Also I don't grip the weights tight when working out I always have a loose grip on them. Not sure if that helps or not but I have never had any calouses on my hands from working out. :-)
Weird question, I know. I am curious how many wear workout gloves while lifting weights? I have NOT been wearing them and I noticed on my left hand, between my thumb and index finger, I have starting to get try and callous-like.
If you wear gloves, where did you get them? I saw some inexpensive ones at WalMart in their exercise section.
