I tried to follow the program, but after awhile, I added more cardio cos I didn't like working out only 5 days a week (I have been working out 6 days a week for a very very long time!). I have switched up the Cardios on my subsequent rounds. I believe it's ok to switch things up - she even says she put the Cardios in that she did in case someone needed them, but if you have favorite ones, do them - the point being to just move to whatever will make you move :D
Are you asking about Rest Days or cardio/flexibility days? My first round, I would sometimes skip the rest days (knowing there would be days I would have to miss a workout). I tried to follow the cardio days, but towards the end of the 3 months, I started to get a little bored with the cardio, so I started substituting it with other workouts (Turbo Jam, Rockin Body, etc). Does this answer your question?
