Not exactly the same. For example, if you were doing bicep curls and hamstring curls, the breakdown set might be only the bicep curls.

The first round I started over because I had not met my goal. The second time I was pretty close to goal and started the Lean for Life phase. I like that so I"m not looking at the same people for a month.

Then TurboFire came out and I switched to that. Love it!

I actually LOVE the breakdown sets. POINTAFTER, do you just keep repeating the whole thing? I've got one more day of Lean and not sure how I want to do the Lean for Life phase. If I want to follow the calendar in her book, or if I want to do one day each of Burn, Push and Lean or one week of each. Curious what other people are doing.

It's the hardest phase, but like Chalene says, it is the most effective. I'm on my third round of CLX and I'm in the Lean phase again.

In addition to working upper and lower body at the same time, it's more difficult because she adds a breakdown set to EVERYTHING. In the Burn and Push phase only some of the exercises get extreme.

Tighten your core and wipe your tears. It's worth it! emoticon

Just did Lean 1 yesterday and I was almost in tears. Yeah...I think it's super challenging. Today I'm pretty sore. I think I will need to be mentally ready for this phase. I don't know what I expected but it wasn't this. Also, I agree in terms of the weights you can't go too heavy or else it's more difficult to do the moves. Good luck everyone!

I ended up backing my weights down a little, and that helped. I wasn't sore after the first week. I've seen the most definition out of this month. I'm thinking about repeating it.

Yea this phase requires more balance, which I dont have a lot of!! But it does get easier.

I just finished my 3rd week of Lean and I'm not sure it's getting much easier, LOL. It requires a lot more balance than the other 2 phases because it's working whole body at once. Bicep and hamstring curls at once are killers for me...

I was actually suppose to start the lean phase in the CLX Hybrid this week but I think I'm going to take this week off, been on vacation and hate starting a new circuit in the middle of the week. I liked the burn and push phase but if you are saying the lean phase is harder omg not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not

Wow! So I started the Lean month this week. I've done the first two workouts and I'm in such pain. Almost didn't do the second one this morning as Monday's workout was still hurting me so much but I pushed through. Surely tomorrow I'll be in agony. Gotta love it!

I don't get why it's so much harder. Maybe because it's back up to 12 reps again? My biceps are so sore and those are hard muscles to get sore for me for some reason.

Looking forward to Friday's workout...I think.
