I did the CE/TF hybrid that came with the program, but didn't feel like it had enough of the CE ST so this time I'm making up my own and varying the CE ST 3 times a week and using either the Cardios from CE or TF depending on what I'm feeling that day the other 3 days :D
I've been looking for different variation of CLX/TF as well but decided to make my own. I didn't really like the hybrid schedule that beachbody recommends. I'm basically adding HIIT workout from TF on 2 days when I do CLX. Then I also add TF on 2 days when I'm not doing CLX. Not sure if that will work for you but it seems to be pretty good for me!
Just starting a custom Hybrid in the Challenges thread if you are interested. I decided that I really liked the full CLX and wanted to start that over but had to have more cardio so made up a 90 day one to fit in more of that.
I didn't like the TF 20 week Hybrid in the book as it wasn't enough CLX for my liking. But let me know if you decide to mix it up somehow.
I LOVE the TF/CLX hybrid! It's like getting the best of both worlds. Not boring at all because it switches back and forth. It's great for me because (1) TF is a little above my fitness level, so it pushes me, and (2) I'm not the best dances, so CLX comes in just as I'm about to get frustrated!
I went back to CLX because I was having trouble with my shoulder, so I decided to eliminate punches as part of my re-hab. But I highly recommend the hybrid.

I am on my last month of CLX. I am doing the “Lean for Life” phase. Lean for Life (in case someone is not familiar) has workouts from each phase. (Burn Circuit 1, Push Circuit 2 and Lean Circuit 3) You do each circuit once a week, all four weeks.
I am interesting in finding out other variations with CLX. What have you done after you finished your first round? Has anyone combined all circuits (like in the Lean for Life phase) in one week or month? If so, what circuits did you do? Has anyone done one complete circuit one week (Like BC1, BC2 and BC3) and then another complete circuit (like PC1, PC2 and PC3) the next week? I want to get ideas for when I am done with the Lean for Life phase.
PS- I have Turbo Fire. Does anyone thing the TF/CLX is good? Did you enjoy it? Too easy? Too hard? Boring?
