I think this is doable. Right now I am doing the full on Insanity program with ChaLean Extreme Maintenance for life schedule 3 evenings a week. I was going to Burn Intervals and Burn It Off as it is scheduled and I took those out to do 2 Kickboxing routines that utilize resistance bands and Yoga on Sunday evenings. It is a lot; however, I make sure I am fueling my body correctly and not over doing it as well as take a full rest day once a week. If your goal is to blast fat, then it is okay to add in extra cardio as you have planned. Good luck!
Marie, I love to dance and I think I could burn a lot of calories (watched some ads) doing it. I contacted an instructor from her online page when I was searching for one, but she hasn't replied back yet. I hope she does and I can take a few classes to see if I'd like it enough to buy the dvds if the classes are too much :)
Wanda! Do It!! If not join me in Plummer Idaho tonight!!! LOL. I finally went and am on Class #3, it is fun!!! Just make sure you are at the front of the class so you can see the teachers feet the first few times and you will do great. I am totally uncoordinated until I get something down, and I think all of the TurboFire craziness has me catching on a lot quicker or something because I had quite a few people in the class tell me they thought I had been coming for a long time.. . HA.
I'm so glad that someone asked this question... I just started another round of Insanity and I've been mixing it with ChaLEAN Extreme.. I wanted to do weights in the morning and cardio at night or vice versa depending on my mood when I woke up, but I just can't seem to find time to work out twice a day. I was worried that I would be hurting my body instead of making progress... I have seen great results though since combining... but it is pretty tiring on some days when I don't have the energy to push through.
I agree with LAURACS63, I do TF or something else on my weight lifting days with this program for the extra cardio as it is my stress releif and have never once felt "over trained". Have a great time at Zumba. . .I am very uncoordinated and my good friend who is a Zumba instructor keeps trying to get me to come to her class. . ..LOL I'm going to have to do it one day, it looks fun!
