I have been losing scale weight since day one of CLX and think it's odd how everyone seems to say it makes them gain. My muscle mass is going up and my measurements are going down also. maybe, it's if you are a beginner in weight lifting...as in you never did it before you retain more water as you break down those muscles. I have lifted before and am just getting back into shape....maybe that's a reason???
Ignore the scale anyway. Just measure and use the calipers and take the scale with a grain on salt, if you want to use it. if you are eating clean, the number will drop.

I swear, this is the curse of CLX!!! While we are looking toner, tighter and feeling better that dang scale would like to beg to differ. I had a talk with my Beachbody coach today about this. I just have to keep adding in the cardio I think and get super serious about calories. I just get so mad at the scale...I think it's laughing at me.
I know what you mean! I've been going through the CE program fairly consistently for several months, have started back with some light jogging (after a foot injury), and people tell me I look slimmer, clothes are fitting - but the scale DOES NOT BUDGE. Well, it fluctuates within six pounds, depending on my water retention I guess. I am off-and-on with the calories, but I'm not gorging myself, and most of the time I'm within calorie range. I guess this is what to expect when you're 47. What keeps me going is the fact my body feels tighter and I'm getting so much stronger.
Well.....that's what my scale said...right before I chucked it out the window. Needless to say, my scale is broken, needs new batteries(it's digital) or hates me. Probably a little of each. So, I think that I'll replace batteries and weigh again, then put it away for a while. I just can't get over the fact that while my body is changing for the better, my weight never reflects it.Anyway...HIIT 15 and BC2 today..gotta keep going! Mary
