i borrowed that DVD from my friend for the weekend, and the interval cardio, or whatever the right term is, is completely different from just running, exactly because of the intervals i think. now i've just got to figure out how to put this all together. thanks for the help!
Or, on the ST days, you could do your running and then the ST. A lot of people do cardio before these. The cardio ones, though, are good, and the one that is intervals...I would suggest doing because it's more BURST strength training than slow. I've learned from my son who is in fitness, that doing ST slow and then doing it in bursts like in the intervals, even though it works the same muscles, our muscles are so complex that it works a different portion of the same muscle.
Hi Cathy--you will love the program...I am a runner too..in the warmer months I run before work and follow the program to a T...but you certainly could do the running instead of the cardio..no problem....
i just ordered my DVDs and i had a couple questions. do you do the program every day? and i run 3-4 times a week. i understand there's cardio in this program. would the running take the place of the cardio so i can get in a rest day?
