When I was working, if I worked late enough (10 or 11) I would get up around 6:30 or so. I hate getting up early and if I haven't gotten 8 hours of sleep I will do my workout in the evening. My sleep is too important.

When I work out in the morning I like to get up and going b/n 5:30 and 6. I really love when I get up, it makes me feel more energized and I'm in a good mood. It just makes my days great and off on the right track. And now that life has changed I find it harder to workout at night b/c I have other obligations. If you just do it a couple days in a row I really think you would like it!

I don't eat anything before I exercise but I do drink my Zija (great stuff).

Hope that helps!!

I woke up at 5am to workout today, but I didn't actually workout until about 6am. Haha. Generally, I like to start my workouts around 5:30am.

I only work out Tuesdays - Fridays in the morning. I normally start working out at 4am...which means that I get up at 3:30 for devotions and prep for exercise. Work starts at 8:15 but I normally take a bit of time to get ready and watch tv before I leave.

Some days I definitely cannot get up to do my workout. Today is one of them. Stayed up way to late last night.

You ladies are my heros! I am just not a early morning person. I set my alarm for 6am with great intentions of getting up and working out and usually end up resetting my alarm for 7am. I do better working out after I get home at night but my daughter is 9 so she can easily entertain herself.

I just don't know how to get into the habit of getting up earlier.

I work from home now, but I still try to get my workout in by 9 or 10AM. I'm not a PM workout person, so if I don't do it by then I just don't. But here's what I did do when I worked full time.

I had to be at work by 7:30, which meant leaving at 7AM. I got up at 4 to 4:30, spent 30 minutes drinking my coffee, then worked out. I didn't eat before, but when i got to work that's when I'd have my breakfast. I've always been a morning workout person because I'd get it done before anyone else woke up.

Are you a stay-at-home mom? If so, then you're kind of like me only my kids are grown. If it were me, I'd get everything done in the morning, that way you have your afternoon free to spend with your kids. Or do it after you drop them off at school.

Whether or not you eat before you workout is a matter of personal preference. If you struggle with pushing yourself & reaching your limits, then I would suggest eating 1st.

I have to leave for work by 5 at the latest, so I get up at 2:30am. I don't actually start working out until closer to 3.

I have to leave for work at 8:15, so I get up at 5am, but I don't actually work out until 6. I take 45min or so to kind of mentally prepare for the day. I can't jump out of bed and go workout emoticon

Just out of curiosity what time does everyone get up to go workout? I wouldn't have to get up until 6:30 (which is late compared to people getting up at 5 or 5:30 to workout) but 6:30 is way to early for me...lol but I figure if I do that then I can get my cardio done and then after I drop my kids off at school and can either do ChaLEAN Extrme (ST) or more cardio whichever day it may be. My daughter gets out of preschool at 11 so I like to have my workout done house cleaning for the day ( or part of it) done and shower done. Some days that's a lot to do in 2 1/2 hrs. I think getting up would give me a good start to the day. The only thing is I am NOT a morning person at all. I like to stay up late in sleep in. But if you guys PUSH me it will make it ( a little) easier....lol
