I love eggs so I can't help you with that except to suggest maybe just using the non-egg breakfast recipes.

I buy my Vanilla Whey Protein at Walmart and sometimes at GNC.

Good luck with everything!

In our Wal Mart it is by the pharmacy (go figure - hah). I usually get the vanilla and chocolate and since my son is doing P90x - I get him the strawberry. Another protein I use -which is the one I use on my oatmeal- is a soy based protein and I get that at my grocery store. It is Genisoy Soy Protein powder and has 25g of protein for only110 calories - I usually only use one scoop though instead of the three in my oatmeal. I use my vanilla or chocolate protein as a recovery drink after I have lifted - I just mix it in water and drink it down, depending on what I'm having for dinner to stay within my calorie limits. Good luck!

I buy my Whey Protein from Wal Mart - it is about $17.00-$20.00 for the kinds I like. I know in the beginning you cut back on carbs which I did when I was in Burn Phase (I'm now in Lean Phase) but one of my staples for breakfast is Kashi Go Lean and I usually had oatmeal one or two days per week with a scoop of protein powder and 3-4 walnuts broken up. That would carry me for a long time and I would have to remind myself to eat a snack in the mid-morning because I'm just not hungry after eating that breakfast. Another staple that I've heard about through Chalene is FAGE 0% - that is great stuff. It is a yogurt really high in protein. I will have that for breakfast sometimes with some fruit and maybe a little Stevia or Agave. Then there's always cottage cheese, fruit and a couple of walnuts. Yum.

I look forward to seeing the response to this because I am not a big fan of eggs either. I totally can relate to you feeling sick due to the smell of the egg whites. Ugh!

I buy my whey protein powder from www.vitacost.com/

The Fat Burning Food Guide lists all kinds of wonderful recipes. However, most of the breakfast in the burn phase have the basic staple of egg whites. I do not like eggs. I have not liked eggs since I was a child and the only way I would ever eat them was covered in cheese and made by my Mom.
I have spent $181 in groceries to fill my refrigerator with fresh foods and give myself enough to start testing recipes to determine if I can stand to eat them. The problem is that while I can make myself suffer through a plain scrambled egg now with a touch of sea salt.....I cannot do egg whites. I just made the most wonderful looking omelet, and I could not get past the second bite....it literally made me sick. I added salsa, it did not help at all. So I wasted a Mozzarella, Spinach, and Tomato Omelet and now my entire kitchen is making me sick from the smell of those egg whites.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could try for breakfast in my burn phase? I need help because I want to be good, but I will starve myself and go broke trying to eat this stuff.
And where on Earth do I buy whey protein powder besides teambeachbody.com?
