Brussel Sprouts (if you like and eat them!) are an excellent source of Vitamin B9 (Folate and Folic Acid).

As a triathlete and runner and now going on 6 months pescatarian, I really need to find a fine line between my carb and protein intake. Carbs are easy but finding more protein is hard. Any more advice out there from Veggie or Fish land?

Linda--thank you for your reply. Lately, I have not been taking those sub-lingual tablets. My new doctor recommended them, and my last reading was within the normal range. Thanks for the reminder!

I'm not sure about Pescatarians,but I do know Vegitarians
tend to be low in B12-if you decide to supplement-make sure
to get the sublingual as it doesn't absorb too well in the
capsule form.

My intake of protein, Vitamin B12, and iron is usually low. I know fish contains a fair amount of protein, but not sure about the other two. I'm wondering if anyone can provide me (and members of the team) with information and hints about Pescatarians getting more of these in their diet. Hopefully, this is something others may have questions about. Would love to hear others' experience. Thank you!!
