If you can afford it, you might want to join a 24 hour gym. That way no matter what your hours, you can always go and get a workout in. And remember, just because our group is work out after work, we won't kick you out if you work out before work. emoticon

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone else here works a physically demanding job that has irregular hours? I am a retail sales associate, which doesn't sound too challenging but in my position I am constantly on my feet and on the go, often lifting and moving sets to different areas. My shifts can range from midday, to closing, or like tomorrow, six am to three in the afternoon.

I was wondering, if there is anyone else out there with a work schedule like this, how do you motivate yourself to work out AFTER work? As it stands, I am going to try to motivate myself to get up early and use my workout bike for at least fifteen minutes before getting ready, but usually by the time I get home, like today, I am so drained and exhausted that all I want to do is curl up with a book.

So...I am all ears as far as ideas go! Thanks!
