don't give up yet..NEED-TO-BE-ME.. may be u'r sizes changed..

As for me i made up my mind not to give up my gym time no matter what.. so I'm ready to slash all hurdles for that 1 hr.. i do n't trade this... yep very excited today as i'm hooking myself to a trainer for 8 weeks.. so i believe everything will fall in place now... luckily i got a very gud deal..i would say gr8 one.. so will make the bestest out of it....

I am going to lose my 30 pounds before july and look gr8....

happily going a nd doing everything.. every smlall change is going to be helping me.. i'm fighting this for myself and my lovely kids.. i need to be tehir role model.. so boost me up guys....

Didn't think I'd be able to do anything after work, so worked out when I got up. However, the rain let up enough for a good 15 min walk in light misty rain. I got only slightly damp, got back just as the rain turned back on seriously. emoticon

I ended up getting 20 "free" min in by walking around the house while on phone. I can do that without getting breathless now! So, total 80 min yesterday!

This AM, 2 SP videos. I'm determined to do whatever it takes to stay on track and reach my goals.

Thanks! I'm in the same boat. All this consistent working out...is producing muscle, not lb loss? That's my guess because I've been stuck and actually gained a lb in the last 2 wks. Come on, scale, get with it!

Did SP video this AM, will walk at lunch, Curves after work. That's the third time I said it; I'm going no matter how tired I am.

Did SP video before work, and knowing that workout after work would be unlikely today, I took my chances and went for a walk at lunchtime. Having no umbrella made it a sure thing that the threatening rain would turn on. I arrived back at work cold and damp, but I did it!

I'm sure the walking added to Curves and videos is what took off THREE lbs this week! I can hardly believe it!

I use this thread to check in on because it's the simplest and least time-consuming. I don't have time to do extra figuring; it just helps me to post that I did something.

Today was pretty amazing considering that I slept poorly last night and was really tired. I did a long SP video this morning to get me going, walked briefly at lunch, and made it to Curves where I added some extra stretch minutes.

My scales has edged its way down another lb. Winter 5% Challenge goal is looking good!

I realized today that all I'm thinking about 197 is its relation to 200. I need to reprogram brain to think in terms of only a few more till 190, my next little milestone. It sure was easier to get UP to 190 and 200 than it is going down.

I wasn't able to go to Curves after work, but in addition to this morning's SP video, I walked down to the bay at lunchtime.

I've been going between 198 and 202 for awhile now. I'd like to get rid of that 2 number for good! When I first seen 199 I was sooo excited! I think if I get to 195 I won't see 200 again!
Actually my daughter is going to school in Valencia California, I really want to move there! Michigan I love but this winter has been brutal! Got more snow last night so more cardio work for me!

Did my Jillian body revolution cardio today, for 30 minutes it kicks my butt!! And I'll be shoveling snow in a minute, I gotta eat lunch first.

You should be in Fla where I am! I had a lovely walk to a produce market on my lunch hour. CONGRATS on the 199! Do everything you can to keep it there. I'm only 2 lbs ahead of you, and I was thrilled to pieces when I unexpectedly saw the first dip below 200!

Worked out before work and at lunchtime. Did SP video, walked, and assorted odds and ends. Every minute counts!

Unofficial weight today was 199, hopefully it keeps going in that direction.

Still doing my Jillian and treadmill and tomorrow looks like there will be snow shoveling too!! More snow tonight. I got stuck in the driveway yesterday. Lol. Took a little bit but I got out.

I flipped my calendar and this was the quote of the month.....
To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on moving

I don't understand January at all. I started 1-1 at 202 pounds, two weeks later I was 198 with no exercise, I started exercising and I end at 202!! I worked my butt off!! Oh well I'll keep at it though. Just like the quote says. It's hard when you have results like that!!

I did my cardio and Jillian kicked my butt again today

Thanks! I never did get a chance to go out and walk, so I maximized my stop at the grocery store and walked the whole store a couple of times, every aisle. Wasn't a high power workout, but it was actually a good 40 min of reasonable motion.

My Curves has added Jillian. Some of it is still a bit too much for me. I'm hoping another month's consistent working out will help me be able to do it.

Went to Curves this morning to do my 3rd this week. I'm trying to go 3x a week and succeeding most of the time.

Did my Jillian yesterday and today, plus today I did 60 minutes on the treadmill. Not so sore and seem to be able to do the exercises better. Tomorrow is her cardio and that kicks my butt!!

Thanks and good luck with your job situation. Today I did a 10 min SP video + 15 min stretching routine before work, and I'm going to Curves after work no matter how I feel. After three late nights in a row, I know I'm going to be tired, but I really want to make my three weekly Curves workouts this week, I'm going to need lots of motivation this afternoon.
1. 6 lbs lost since end of Dec
2. 2 lbs down of 11 for 5% challenge
3. Curves consistency this week
4. I want to lose 14 more lbs by my April birthday and going home to crash won't get me there.
5. I've said on several posts that I'm going. Keep me accountable, Sparkers.

I got laid off on Friday, might be temporary. So with this time I have I've put it to good use! I started my Jillian Michaels body revolution again. I started on Monday and I'm so sore! They're only 30 minute workouts! I also did 60 minutes on the treadmill 2 of the days.

Hoping the lay off is short but enjoying being able to workout when I want

Thanks! Went to Curves yesterday after work as planned; came home feeling energized and did some heavy cleaning. I was surprised at how good I felt. So...had insomnia last night, an intense day at work, came home and took a deep dead-out nap. It was so hard to get myself moving, but I did. "I'm tired" is one of my three no-fly excuses. I'm glad my streak is still going!

Getting a little antsy with all this relaxing. Lol I walk around the house to just get moving. There's heat advisories out so I'm not even going to try and go outside. I go to the docs next Thursday. Hopfully I'll get the okay to do some light workouts.

Well I had the full hysterectomy Friday and now I'm relaxing. I can't do anything for this week, I'm going to try and go back to work the week after. It's a sit down job so it should be fine. Not sure when I can get back to exercise, I'm not worried about it either. I'll get there when I'm ready.

The specialist said it wasn't cancer!! YAY!! He said it was one step away from cancer though, so he's recommending that I get a full hysterectomy. And I'm fine with that. Our kids are in college and we don't want to any more.

I was just shy of a one pound loss again this week. Even though I had the week off I only worked out twice, I did a lot of cleaning that needed to get done though and some relaxing of course emoticon

Pam thankfully it was caught early but IMO I would tell the doctor/ surgeon to do a complete because down the road it could cause problem family member only did a partial and it came back to bite her on her behind years later I'd rather play it safe as you said you aren't planning any more children

Yesterday I had my 2nd 5K I did so much better on this one really looking forward to my next one in August emoticon

George the challenges can be stressful that is why I sat out BLC21 and I'm now doing BLC22 but some how I got roped in becoming team leader for summer challenge with the other BLC team but I can survive its only 10 weeks then I hand over the reins again to the originally team captain.

Well my post-op appt was this week but the nurse called me on Monday and said he needed to see me sooner, you know that's not good. I went in on Wednesday and he said what he took out was cancer, but he thinks he got it all and it was very early. Now he wants me to see a specialist to see if I should get just the uterus removed or everything for prevention of anymore. And I'm fine with that, I'm 45 have 2 girls (19 & 21) and I'm not planning on any more.

I did lose a pound this week. And with this latest scare I can't wait for the rest to come off. I'll need to lose as much as I can before the next surgery.

Hi today I had off from work got my jog in before the rain came this morning then this afternoon went to gym for some strength training

The last 2 days I've been having hip pain and very exhausted. At work I've been standing more and on cement floors so I'm sure that's the problem. Tomorrow I won't be dong that job all day so it should be better.

With that said I haven't been on the treadmill. I think tomorrow I'll put something motivational on my steering wheel so I'll see it all the way home.

I weighed in this morning at 210.4 I would like to lose 5 pounds this month, very doable.

Well I know this thread isn't used much but I'll give it a shot.

May was a crazy month for me....... Started off with a bad pap then 3 biopsys, drove out to California (live in Michigan) to get daughter from school, went to Disneyland and was fried crispy (forgot sunscreen at hotel) TONS of sightseeing and walking got back home, had surgery on Thursday to remove the abnormal cells and this weekend I'm relaxing!!

With the trip and surgery I've really come to the realization I must get rid of this weight.

Working out after work is my only choice, but it's doable. With both daughters home from school they are on board to help me. For now my plan is to get on the treadmill as soon as I get home, in 2 weeks I go back to the docs for follow up and the okay to do more exercising.

So.... this weekend I'm going to enjoy my family and relax. Come Monday I will be on my way to get rid of this weight once and for all!!!

Working out any time is not easy for me, but my husband is being supportive and making sure the kids stay upstairs while I workout at night. There's nothing like getting started to have to break up a fight :) I'm starting over after a long February, but I can do it!! One step at a time!

Wow, that was a workout! I did two miles on the track at the gym and dropped in a water aerobics class which was the first time I'd ever done that. I liked it and will be doing more of it.

I'm recovering from my walk through downtown Chicago yesterday. I walked approx. 9 miles and took about 3 hours to do it. It was cold, windy and we had freezing rain. We went from Union Station to the Lincoln Park Zoo and then to Millennium Park after stopping to eat. What a great night.

I felt very proud of myself. I had lost a pound and a half since my last weigh in. I'm determined to use Spark and my TOPS group to help keep me on track this year. I'm really surprised that that walking work out has put a soreness around on me. :D
I met with a couple of my girl friends at lunch today and we talked about remotivating each other. Becky has regained a little bit of weight she had off but is still pretty close to her goal in WW. She hasn't been getting as much exercise and we are setting a goal for ourselves to get a hike in the spring planned that will be something to move toward as a reward.
Hope you are doing well....I even came home and did the 30 minute walk after TOPS.

I have a TOPS meeting, the first weigh in of the year after work today. I have been vigilantly doing a 2 mi walk every night. I don't have to get to the gym or have anything special to be able to do it so I have no excuse. After 4 days I can feel a little bit of soreness setting in that you wouldn't think I would have because this is such a low key exercise routine. That shows me how good the workout is at touching on different areas...even abs and how badly out of shape I have gotten.
I am proud to be taking care of myself and plan to continue til it is habitual.

George so right about no time limit on this journey I do set up short term monthly goals that way I will eventually reach my long term goals but none have dates to them I'm doing this like a turtle myself Oh I am doing the biggest loser winter challenge still with team Amethyst I am enjoying this one better then the BLC that I did for 4 rounds I'm sitting out BLC21 to stressful Are you still doing that challenge?

I was at my sister in laws and ended up eating bad food and some drink (not a lot) and playing board games with the family until 2 a.m. Got to bed at 3:30 a.m. Woke up at 11:15 a.m.

I didn't make any resolutions, not setting myself up for failure. My overall goal is to lose 42 pounds and I'm not putting a time limit on it. My original goal when I joined SP way back when was to lose 75 pounds so I'm getting there little by little.

Hope everyone has a great week and sticks to their plans.

Hope you had a very nice New Year Eve Mine was nice & quiet as I had to go to work this morning.

Did anyone make any New Years resolutions ? I made my game plan for the new year with new goals to work toward.
