Hi all,

Congrats to those who stuck with the challenge for the entire month. As those who have tried know, it's not an easy task.

BIG congrats to those who surpassed their goals, that being SBEHNKE2 and BHSUZYCUE.

I will be putting up the March challenge this evening and I actually plan on participating in it this time around lol. We have a massively large team yet few that actually participate in the monthly challenge, myself included. Let's all try and kick some butt this time around.

I apologize for my absence. Feb. has totally kicked my butt and I didn't do anything for the challenge.

Speaking of challenges, I am a co-leader for the Biggest Loser Spring Into Action Challenge Purple Team and I am looking to recruit members for the team. If anyone is interested please feel free to post here or send me a sparkmail. It is a 10 week challenge that not only includes wt. loss but also healthy lifestyle changes and weekly challenges ie. exercise, diet, water, sleep etc. etc. We currently need anywhere from 15 to 19 more people. Please only reply if you are serious about seeing it through to the end because if you miss 2 weigh ins in a row, your wt. loss no longer counts toward the team totals.

This has been a rather non productive week, but I have accomplished so much! On monday at work I started feeling crappy so ended up taking the day off of working out, Tuesday was a low key day too because I still felt crappy. 20 minutes of water walking, Wednesday no workout again knew if I went to the gym I would want to do spinning and go hard core and did not feel ready for that so stayed out. Thursday was an ok day and I did a 45 minute strangth class along with 20 minutes walking the track Tonight I also did 20 minutes walking the track.

You can always change your goal to fit what you're actually doing. Just make sure it's a goal that is actually doable -- allow for some down time.

Basically there are 4 numbers. The first number is the number of days you pledge to workout, the 2nd number is the number of minutes you pledge to workout per day, the 3rd number would be your total for the month and the 4th number is the number of minutes you have remaining. For example:

5/30/500/500 would be workout 5 days a week for 30 minutes at a time and 500 minutes would be the monthly total and you have 500 minutes yet to fulfill your pledge. Then if you worked out a couple of days for 30 min. each time, your numbers would be 5/30/500/440. The 440 is because you've worked out a total of 60 minutes so the last number would drop by 60.
