Started this new effort to loose weight in Jan.
First month of the year was quite promissing. Lost 7,6 kg per today due
to smart eating (I was never hungry at any stage) and 5x per week running
(112km sofar this Year). Still a BMI of 28.9 which is definitely too high.
11kg to go til september. After that a consolidation phase till year end and then
another 3-5kg.

I´m quite confident alltho I guess that every next kg will be harder than the
ones before.

January was a Good month, as far as working out is concerned.

Final Update for January:



5/30/630/-945

Lost 3.4 pounds which is very little to show for all the hard work and eating healthy on low to mid range of calories! But this time I am not giving up!

Hi Team,

I had a big wake up call in the past 2 days. I was in the hospital with chest pains. I went in yesterday a.m. and just got home about an hour ago. I went through the full battery of tests. It turns out the pain was musculo-skeletal in nature but since I had my aortic valve replacement surgery in April of '10, I wasn't about to take chances.

While there I realized that I wasn't taking care of my heart the way I should have been. That includes, exercising, losing wt., eating low fat and low sodium. All of the things that SP was made for. I'm hoping this inspires and encourages me to do something right for my health and my heart. I had a nuclear stress test today so I already got my treadmill workout lol.

Thanks focus-on-now, I am finally starting to feel a little better. But it has been a long week.

Today was a good day, I am not so sure it is worth weighting in line for a half hour to get a spinning bike for class, I somehow managed to get the last bike and totally enjoyed the class.

This month totally sucks!!! I was a little worried about getting in all my workout time this month because I was suppose to leave for vacation Thursday, but instead I get told that I can not leave because my grandma died so now I am working out more to release stress.

I haven't been posting like I should be, but I have been going to the gym regularly. I have 3 days a week of cardio and 3 days a week of weight training. If it weren't for my sinus infection, I would be feeling great right now. Thanks for the inspiration everyone!

What started out as a great week ended on a bad note, friday nothing, saturday 20 minute workout, and hydro massage to relax. Today work, a funeral then a long talk with a friend so again nothing. Tomorrow starts a new week I can do this! :) it will happen.

I am so in and it has been a fairly good week. On reason I kept my numbers lower this month is that i know I will be gone for 2 weeks so am not sure what I will have access to as I am out in the middle of the country. But if I keep things going the way they are I may have to raise the numbers. 45 minutes the last 4 days monday + tuesday cycle/intervold training. Wednesday running/elliptical and yesterday was cable class.

Basically there are 4 numbers. The first number is the number of days you pledge to workout, the 2nd number is the number of minutes you pledge to workout per day, the 3rd number would be your total for the month and the 4th number is the number of minutes you have remaining. For example:

5/30/500/500 would be workout 5 days a week for 30 minutes at a time and 500 minutes would be the monthly total and you have 500 minutes yet to fulfill your pledge. Then if you worked out a couple of days for 30 min. each time, your numbers would be 5/30/500/440. The 440 is because you've worked out a total of 60 minutes so the last number would drop by 60.
