I think I've calculated my numbers right ... I just joined this group so I'm only counting from Monday 2/15 through the end of the month ... 11 work out days scheduled ...

I'm looking for variety to my workouts and thought perhaps a challenge that I would need to be accountable to would help. Daily challenges start off strong but tend to fizzle ... perhaps this is a better route for me.

Sorry I havenít been posting. Iíve been in the midst of two crazy weeks at home! Weíve had our nephew and his friend staying with us for the past week, and a few unexpected things popped up, which have messed up all my good intentions. I havenít even logged in a single minute of exercise other than skiing, so that goalís been a colossal failure so far this month. I did, however, ski for the last 5 days, so at least I can put that in the plus column. Hereís the breakdown:

I skied and taught for about 6 hours on Thursday;

I skied for about 5.5 hours on Friday;

I skied, guided, and taught for 5 hours on Saturday;

I skied and taught for 2.5 hours on Sunday; and

I skied and led a biski lesson (*massive* quad workout) for 5 hours on Monday.

That makes my total to date: 60/5/2880/1440. Yea! I made it to 50%!
Days worked out in week 1: 0 of 6
Days worked out in week 2: 3
Days worked out so far in week 3: 2

My legs are so sore! Iím fairly certain I wonít be working out for the next day or two, until they heal a little. I hope to be back on skis this weekend, but havenít decided for sure yet. Whatever I do, I have a lot of minutes to make up!

Of course you can! Welcome to the group! The numbers are worked as follows:

The first number is the number of days you pledge to workout, the 2nd number is the number of minutes per session you plan to workout. The 3rd number is the total number of minutes for the month and the 4th number is the number of minutes remaining. So for example 5/30/840/840 means you pledge to workout 5 days per week, 30 minutes per session, 840 minutes total for the month and 840 minutes left. Then if you have worked out for 30 minutes, your numbers would be 5/30/840/810. Hope this makes sense.

oops!!! I way under estimated how much my training for a half marathon was going to increase my workout time this month! I will be more accurate next time.
