I've totally screwed up my challenges. I'm going to start over on Monday. I have also screwed up my working out in general. I haven't been to the gym in over a week. I have half a month left so I am going to have a lot of making up to do.

From my understanding, we put our last set, our max, on there. Seems kind of silly because they used to let you put all your sets but maybe it got redundant since they are telling you how many to do for your other 4 sets.

George on the online logger portion it asks for the last set (or wording to this affect) Are we only supposed to be putting the total of the 5th set we do on that particular day or are we supposed to put the total of all 5 sets of that day on the logger?

Yes, I can use SP on my ipod touch. I won't pay $1.99 for it though if I can use it on my home pc for free anyway.

I feel the need to clarify what this challenge is all about. The goal of this challenge is to do 200 sit ups non-stop. You take an initial test to see how many you can do with good form without stopping. From there, you are set up with a program geared for your current fitness level and it is a 6 week program 3x per week. Each day of exercise consists of 5 sets of sit ups. You can monitor your progress on the website listed, or on the sit up challenge thread. Hope this makes it easier to understand. emoticon

Did you take your pre-test? There is a pre-test on the website and also instructions on proper form for the exercise. It is very helpful since I had been doing them wrong "the old fashioned way" where you come all the way up. These are more like crunches. To follow the challenge strictly, there is no stability ball, it is done on the floor or hard surface and you can hook your feet under something if you tend to slide.

Last night I did 40 situps in bed, does that count Geo? I know I am weird.......... I dont have a stibility ball at this time and bed is the bast place for me to do them, yesterday was not a gym day for me. Have a great day all!!

Sure Mary,

Reps is short for repetitions. Reps is the number of times you do an exercise. A set is one grouping of those reps. For example, if you do 15 sit ups, that is one set of 15 reps. Then if you do 15 more sit ups, that is 2 sets of 15 reps. Sometimes people abbreviate it as such: 2 x 15. Hope this helps. If you go to the website, they have it all broken down and may explain it better than I did. Welcome to the challenge!
