I tend to have protein shakes once in a great while too.

Yes that is the only thing I feel when I am lacking. I just had my whey protien powder in yo plus yogart with a few rasberries and blueberrys. Yummy. I tried it last time in water and it is ok that way, you just have to chug it. lol I am off to the gym now. I have a great workout in mind!! emoticon

Protine is very important. I did a 300 mile bike ride this summer and totally think the reason I had to throw in the towel on the ride wednesday is because I was not eating enough in general but even more so not enough protine for dinner the night before carbs burn off fast and protine takes a lot longer to burn off.

You know, it is interesting-this morning I was doing my lower body strength training and after 45 minutes I felt dizzy so I quit. I thought about why I could be feeling that way and figured I needed to eat something even though it had only been about 3 hours since I had breakfast. That is very possibly the reason why. I may just try that too! Thanks!

We are not old until regrets start taking the place of dreams.

Man I feel it when I do not get enough protien. Last week I was having issues with that feeling weak and in running my nutrional report it says it clearly, too little protien. So I went to the health foods store and talked with the man there about it, he sugested whey protien powder with flax oil. I hit that and felt better right away. I just count it in my calories and only need it when I am working out that day and the day before. I am learning alot about myself and what my body needs! Any similar stories?
