When I slack off on my exercise, I have no energy to do much after work. But when I do go exercise, I have more energy. It's weird!
Going to the gym right after I get off of work makes the work day slip right out of my mind. Every bit of stress and frustration just disappears as soon as I start my cardio. That stress relief is more than enough to get me moving.

This is totally my downfall. My passion right now is step, and spinning. But I can't attend most of the time due to work. So I am currently trying to get myself into working out on my own on the machines again. The thing that keeps me going is just shooting for 10 minutes. If I make it and still feel like I am done I quit but most of the time I will go for the full half hour.
The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.
Karlyn... What I like about Zumba is that it doesn't feel so much like a workout as it feels like going to a salsa club and dancing for an hour. Right now, these classes are my favorite part of the day. I go every single day, except for Friday because it's not offered at my gym that day. I have so much fun I don't even realize I'm exercising, and after just a few weeks, my arms and legs are more defined and my core is tighter. If you check it out, I recommend you go to three or four classes before you decide if it is for you, because it can take a couple classes before you get all the choreography down. Once you have it though, it's like going to a big party. The classes at my gym are so popular that I have to get there 45 minutes early to get a place in class.

I found something I love. I'm addicted to Zumba classes so when I really don't feel like going to the gym I just remind myself how much fun these classes are and I know I'll regret not going later. (Seeing how awesome I look in the mirror lately compared to a couple months ago doesn't hurt either.)
