Hi everyone sorry I went MIA, I was doing so good at trying to stay on then life happened again. Work has been crazy lately, then we left on a mini vacation to the lake, it did not stop me from exercising but it did prevent me from coming on to post. Now I am back and hopefully going to get right on track. Although I will probably not post again until tuesday as I have another 4 day 12 hour stretch. :) gatta love work!

Took two 30 min walks, did 30 min stationary bike, and 20 min of circut training. Unfortunately went a bit over on calories today. But I'm thrilled about meeting my goal for the month -- surely I can get 15 min of exercise in tomorrow.

did long walking on the treadmill this morning .felt great and kept upping the incline (five miles..75 minutes)

spent ten minutes on the elliptical

and twenty minutes hard at work on lower body floor exercises with and without the ball

More Theraflu, aspirin and rest today. But I also weeded my garden for an hour. That was the best I could manage. I need to get well before I can do more cardio.

This has been a rough week--lots of late meetings and early morning meetings that kept me away from the gym. Somehow, I still dropped three pounds! I will push harder next week.

I haven't been on here recently. It's great to see several new folks. Welcome!

Work has been more than a little nuts lately and I let it get me off track. Getting back on course now. Yesterday went to the gym and did 10 min elliptical, 20 min stationary bike, 20 min circut training, and then took a 30 min walk later in the day.

Circuit Training: 30 minutes

Elliptical Trainer: 20 minutes

I've recently become enamored of the inclined elliptical machine. It doesn't hurt my knees and I burn a lot of calories. I'm working on my stamina so maybe I can do all of my cardio on that machine and can skip the bike. Maybe.

weight trained till I got sore...

I just joined this team today (9/19/09), but I do keep a record of my workouts.

My goal is 60 minutes per workout session
x 4 days per week
240/week x 4 weeks

960 minutes per month = goal

(Hope I did that right.)

My total minutes for Spetember so far = 443.

So I guess my entry for today should look like this:

Ok.. after realizing that something wasn't right I came to the conclusion I WAS posting my numbers wrong..
the last number is supposed to be a countdown..
since I've been doing more than I had planned on I guess my numbers will be in the negative then

went to the gym this morning even tho I didn't have work..lol

I added my workout in spark and there is no place for incline intervals on a treadmill..so I added it as a set incline at a slower pace for the calories and such..but the times are correct

17 minutes on treadmill @4.5
60 minutes incline intervals treadmill 4off 4on at 5%
5 minutes cool down

Saturday I worked, but kind of took a vacation from everything else. Ended my exercise and calorie tracking streak at 11 days -- which is the longest I've ever gone. Back in the saddle again and will attempt to complete 2 weeks.

Yesterday I did a 25 min walk, 20 min on the bike, and 20 min of hauling brick and pulling weeds from the garden (which I considered my ST for the day).

We went to the gym. It was a short visit since I'm still not completely well.

Cycling 5 minutes
Elliptical Trainer 25 minutes
Stair Step Machine 5 minutes
Inclined Elliptical 10 minutes

Total: 45 minutes
